Helenwood Foods IGA is a small "Mom and Pop" grocery store. It is in an area that services a community that otherwise would have to travel almost 15 minutes to find another grocery store. The prices reflect that "convenience". However, because it is ONLY a small grocery store, if you need to purchase something quickly, you can run in and out without having to deal with the "hike" it takes to just grab milk or bread when going to the Walmart Super Center. I have gladly paid the higher price, just to keep from having to go to the Walmart.
