Frazier's Ornamental Concrete — Local services in Hempstead

Frazier's has a variety of concrete and cast aluminum items, including some yard art such as prehistoric dinosaurs, painted, vivid colors. I went today looking for a simple bird bath and discovered a huge variety of sizes types from the simple to three-tier with water pumps. Waterfalls, benches, tables. Other types of yard art which is too much to describe . Take a look at some of the photos I posted for more examples. My photos are not comprehensive as I was shopping, checking out and loading my purchase. The yard staff is very helpful in loading but they do have one shortcoming. Many things I was looking at were not priced and the staff were frustrated because I ask the price of a second item. They have to go to the front desk to retrieve prices on the bird baths I was looking at. This business has been here for many many years and by now I would expect them to have a more efficient system in place and management certainly needs to look into being more customer friendly. With regard to pricing. Your items are very well made and I will definitely be back and I strongly encourage others to shop here, but this system of pricing needs to change...

Frazier's offers a dizzying selection of concrete outdoor decor and garden items. Concrete is formed into benches, Roman pots, giant fountains, dinosaurs, angels, buddas, Greco-Roman gods, birdbaths, and a range of animals arranged in their sprawling display at the 290/Hwy 6 intersection. Inside the garden shop can be found garden markers, gazing balls, Texas stars, galoshes, gardening gloves, Radius brand garden tools, hummingbird feeders, plant supports, glass birdbaths, garden flags, spinners, metal animals and cacti, plastic owls and snakes to fend off unwanted birds, wind chimes, and a small selection of plants including passionflower vines. There's even a small cafe for lunch and an ice cream freezer to cool off after wandering the shop grounds. It's a good stop for the traveler between Houston and Bryan/College Station. Good selection, but poor customer service at the checkout. A few months ago, a nice and helpful staff member helped me pick out a stepping stone that wasn't too badly chipped. Most of the products are made by Fraziers on site, and are made well. These stepping stones had a sticker that said made in China. The employee said I could bring it back if I had a problem. Well...it cracked in dozens of pieces. When I drove 100 miles to exchange it and buy a gift for my husband, the rude lady at the register said it was my fault, and could not be returned after 2 weeks. She kept arguing, and was more concerned about the person who said I could bring it back than my shopping experience. I used to be a yearly customer when I passed through Navasota....
