BUYER BEWARE! Bought a couch from this company (actually from their branch in Albertville) and it took nearly a week to deliver! When it was delivered, it had a scratch place on it. Of course, conveniently for them, this extended the purchase past the FTC LAW 3 day COOLING OFF law that protects consumers in the first 3 days of a credit card purchase. Tough luck for me, the consumer! So when I do get to the point to where we just decide to return the damaged goods back to the store, they say that in the FINE PRINT of the purchase there is ridiculous restocking fee of 15%! All for damaged goods! The left handle had bad scratch damage that was conveniently hidden under the handle. Nice. (Sarcasm) Add to that, that owner (or manager) was clearly unprofessional in the way he acted toward me on the phone. I did not want to pay $180 just for them to plop their damage couch back down on their showroom floor. He was not nice at all. Not willing to compromise or discuss anything. Hey... I am not saying to not pay anything... I don't mind paying 25 bucks for delivery or something reasonable like 5% even, but for them to force me to pay $180 for returning a couch to their showroom is just STUPID. I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know who is on the market for a piece of furniture in this area to STEER CLEAR of this bunch! Just beware that this bunch has an exorbitant RETURN FEE, they CONVENIENTLY take their time to deliver, and THEN will STICK IT TO YOU ON THE PHONE. I paid the $180 but I consider it a STUPID TAX of a lesson learned. Some lessons are learned the hard way... read the FINE PRINT in all the stores. Make sure delivery is within 3 days of the FTC's Cooling Down law...just in case, and frankly... I'll never shop THE FURNITURE...

Didn’t stalk me yet was available for questions and suggestions when I asked. I special ordered and had to wait but not an out of the ordinary timeframe. Every encounter has been professional and courteous. Delivery was priced FAR better than other furniture stores. Delivery guys were careful and considerate of my time and home. I had a warranty concern. Sally, in the store, handled everything kindly and timely. The delivery guy made a wise call to just replace a section without taking my whole sofa, got the info needed and called his office. When they returned yesterday with the replacement, they were quick and professional and even put the decorative pillows back in place before leaving!!! Thanks for being kind and...
Read moreUp until today, I would have recommended them. We bought a Temper Pedic mattress Jan 26 and was told that we had 90 days to return it if we needed to. Had to keep it at least 30 days. My husband called today, Feb 23 to let them know that we would be returning it because I can not sleep on it. We were told that we can't return it for a refund by the same guy, Lee, who sold us the mattress and told us that we could. He told my husband that we can exchange it or get store credit. We have bought other things in the past from them but will not do business with them again. I hate that this happened because we always try to support our local businesses. But I will not be recommending The Furniture Shoppe in Henagar...
