Shopping at Byler's is an experience in and of itself as there are no lights in the store. If you can get past that, this is a great place to find amazing bargains! My favorite part of going to Byler's is the wonderful selection of vitamins and personal care items they have at deeply discounted prices. I am also extremely happy with the gluten free section they offer as again, prices are very low. Shopping these kinds of stores allows me to stock my pantry with good quality gluten free and organic foods which would have cost me SO much more in a regular grocery store. As a side note, -part of the reason one is able to buy these items at such a discount is that many items are beyond the expiration date. Having shopped other bent and dent stores in my area and being willing to experiment with items purchased, I can say that the discount is worth it. I have only stumbled across a few items that were not good beyond their expiration.
