I went there to make a live dry load delivery with my own trailer with a 22:00 app. time. I was reading reviews from other drivers saying that they spent hours on line trying to check in to make the delivery. It wasn't my case. The whole process only took me less than 3 hours. I was in and out with my signed POD on my hand in less than 3 hrs. Amazon is getting better receiving freight or it was the time of my delivery ( They didn't have too much freight coming in around my delivery time ), or, I was just lucky. Also, directions for all trucks checking in for deliveries are: Go East on Volunteer Blvd. then make a left turn onto Bermuda Rd. then make a right turn onto E Dale street or avenue, then a left turn onto Chaparral street or avenue. Truck entrance on the left side ( white Amazon sign). Truck Exit only is on Bermuda Rd. When You go Amazon for deliveries, I recommend You booking your next load after at least 8 hours after your Amazon delivery time because You know, Amazon receives lots of freight and specially this time of year and You may end up cancelling your next load. Good luck drivers and have...
Read moreIf I could give this place a negative score or star I would I had a appointment for 8pm I literally was in line until 11:47pm just to get a door assigned the manager told me the line was so long because the had no doors for floor loaded loads that were coming in, that just goes to show how incompetent Amazon workers are they would rather hire children and pay less wages then to hire someone that can keep a smooth stream of work flow flowing. My question to this lady was why would you not send your floor loaded truck to a reserved spot until doors came available and to keep the inbound traffic flowing properly due to truckers working on a 14 hours clock most of us can’t afford to run out of hours sitting here. not because you can’t make an executive decision but you don’t know how or what executive decisions to make as a traffic manager at your place of business so why exactly are you the manager of anything???? Anyway they ended up taking my advice and started moving the floor loads off to the side 4 hours later to keep the inbound traffic flowing I’ll never...
Read moreThis information is intended for semi truck driver O.T.R. (A.K.A. OVER THE ROAD) deliveries entrance. The entrance for deliveries is off of Chaparral road. First of all very important they only do by appointments. Also this is a new developed area not sure if it might show up on your Garmin GPS or on Rand McNally gps make sure you update your GPS's. I use the Google navigation on my phone to get me here. In combination with the Rand McNally gps. My Rand McNally in the company truck is out dated. I waiting on my new Garmin GPS so hopefully that will be up to date. The good thing of Amazon is they have a truck lounge and enough space for you to maneuver your truck and trailer. There is also plenty of parking outside of Amazon facility to spend the night if you need to on dirt.
I forgot to mention the right side is to drop off trailers only there is two lanes for that and on the left side there's two lanes for live offloads or loads to...
