I had the unfortunate experience of going to an event and the college is not up to code for the disabled. No one was directing traffic for the event which was a madhouse for the guest speaker David Pelzer the author of a Child called It and people were parking in spots that blocked the side walk. The lecture hall we went into did not have a disabled button to automatically open the doors. We had to go out of our way to follow a strangely placed sidewalk in 19 degrees weather to come back around to where the stairs ended. This college is not set up for the disabled at least in the area that we were in. I was so disappointed! The lecture hall had minimal seating for the disabled but we were able to get a spot where I could set my wheelchair and watch the guest speaker. I will not be returning for any future events at this time. Because the side walk was not right I was forced to get out of my wheelchair to get back on the parking lot and almost fell down. Something needs to be done for the disabled at this college. I feel sorry for anyone that requires adaptive equipment or accessibility that attends events or the college. I will be reaching out to the appropriate company or individual to address this issue. This was my first time attending at event here and I am so sorry for anyone that had or has the...

The team at HCC along with the Murray State staff are accommodating and incredibly helpful. An added bonus, the Kentucky Career Center is based here, and for folks like myself who have gone through life changes - it’s...
Read moreWorst nursing school ever. Majority of Staff read power points. They let you have rap battles like on 8 mile. Better yet you can have a professor who says, "I seen," every 5 seconds. High failure rate, no advocate for...
