My husband and I cannot say enough incredible things about Lindsay McGuire, Diane Dodd, Chef Kevin, and the entire staff at Hillcrest Orchards. We planned our October Ohio wedding from Los Angeles all during the time of COVID. Lindsay was attentive, professional, and worked with us and the COVID guidelines set in place by the state to make sure we still managed to have the wedding of our dreams. We dropped off our decorations the morning of the wedding reception for her staff to set up and she flawlessly executed our requests. My husband and I were asked multiple times by staff members if we needed anything; We were even delivered our next round of drinks without any sort of prompting. We enjoyed private hayrides out into the orchard to pick apples with our guests, and the fire pits were lit as soon as dusk hit. Our family raved about how stunning the grounds were, how romantic the barn was, how delicious the food was (get the goat cheese mac n cheese and the apple cider donuts, they DO NOT disappoint)... We heard on multiple occasions that it was the best wedding our guests had ever attended. We are simply speechless - I could genuinely go on and on and on about how much I recommend their services and their venue for ANY event. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Lindsay, Diane, Chef, and the entire Hillcrest Staff for a stunningly beautiful day; We cannot wait to make a yearly pilgrimage from LA to the orchard and relive this day over...

If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, look no further! We got married at Hillcrest Orchards in August 2025, and we truly couldn’t have made a better choice! Both the ceremony site and reception area are beautifully maintained and offer the perfect mix of rustic charm and natural beauty. August is especially lovely there when the trees are lush, green, and bursting with apples! Will was instrumental in helping us navigate the planning and organization process, and Diane was incredibly kind and attentive to both us and our guests on the big day. The entire team at Hillcrest was accommodating, flexible, and an absolute joy to work with from start to finish! We went with their food truck catering option, which turned out to be exactly what we had envisioned, delicious food and a fun, relaxed experience for our guests. Jaime and the Manna Food Truck team went above and beyond to ensure everyone’s dietary needs and food allergies were handled with care. Hillcrest Orchards truly offers the full package! Having our ceremony and reception at one beautiful location, with bar service and catering seamlessly taken care of, made the whole experience feel so much less stressful! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue, and we know anyone who chooses Hillcrest will...

It was $48 for 2 adults and 2 children to get in so I asked what you get for $48 and they told me all of the activities they had and informed me that it would be 60 cents a pound for punkins so I assumed that included apple picking (additional $15) and the apple cannons (another $15) that she had mentioned. But the apple cannons were broken "they said" but I believe they were just shutting them down early on Sunday. The apple cannons were the big draw for us to go there and we were only there 15 minutes and were ready to leave so I asked for my money back and the owner was rude and tried to not return the $48 but then finally returned my $ and told me never to come back .Burnham orchards is way better all around we go there every year and have never had a bad experience. they have way more activities for children and the admission is less they are clear about their prices and their storefront is also larger and has much better selection. Look at the difference in the Google reviews for Burnham orchards and Hillcrest they say everything you need to know. Also I would never have posted this review if the owner was polite when I politely asked for my money back and told...

This was a nice family outing the farm is absolutely beautiful there were activities for children and hayrides all over the farm and games like apple cannon shooting and barrel rides for the little ones a cute little park and big wheels for the older kids plenty of photo opportunities and the best apple cinnamon doughnuts you will ever taste we loved the caramel corn I wasn’t to into the kettle though it was a bit to salty there was pick your own apples a few to choose from and pumpkins I recommend going earlier on in the the season to see the sunflowers because they were all dead when we went to visit and I liked that the place wasn’t to crowded there was lots places to sit and eat if you wanted to enjoy some of the things from the market or the food stands also this farm has a huge corn maze to get lost in but we were rewarded with a donut when we finally got out parking that was very close it was a one stop shop for fall activities one of the best for sure the I will be returning every fall with my family

I have taken my toddler here 3 years in a row and it’s always a hit. The workers are so nice and navigating the farm is easy. You can buy tickets online—my email had a bit of a delay arriving so don’t panic but maybe don’t try and buy them right before you go. We always pick apples and they’re delicious, especially the Gala. They have a small area where you can get refreshments, hot dogs, and donuts… or you can head up to the market area. This year they had a face painting artist who I think was a high school student (?) and she did an absolutely phenomenal job with my antsy toddler. He was so happy.

This is a beautiful wedding venue! My husband and I recently had our reception here, and it was the perfect setting. We love that it is a small, family-owned business. Catering, bar, and venue coordination were all in-house, which saved a lot of time and stress. Coordinators Lindsay and Diane made the process easy and gave a lot of great suggestions/advice- very helpful for couples and families unfamiliar with wedding planning. Food was a huge hit with guests as well with delicious and unique options!
