It had been over 1 year since previously playing here. I use to continually go here every time I played golf. Love to support a family owned course. The front course seemed to be in better condition than years past. Even thought 4 holes in it was raining pretty good. It cleared so we finished the front nine. After starting the back nine a down pour came along. I did not get to play the back 9 due to rain. I hung around 40 minutes to wait it out but it continued. Management would not permit a 9 hole rain check, nor a return for later that day. Reason given was that people could leave and give a friend a pass in instead. Well, that is somewhat understandable. Although, I would suggest a little more customer friendly approach by allowing the person to hold onto their pass with 9 holes marked off as played for the day issued (they scan your drivers license to issue your cart, why not use that as proff of return on the same day to finish what was paid for? Honestly, that small change in practice would make more likely repeat customers in the future. Moving forward, unless there is a zero percent chance of rain, I will not be returning to play anytime soon. Poor policy and...

A few weeks ago I decided to go play this course. I paid for 9 holes and a cart and a tip. This was at 245pm.The lady working the counter acted like I was putting her out by playing. I told her I could play somewhere else no big deal and she said it was fine to play. I started off on hole #1 and played a few holes. When I got to hole#4 by the club house she comes out and tells me to put some heat on it and that it gets dark real quick around here. I then again said I don't have to play here I can go somewhere else. She said make sure your done by 5:15. I finished up shortly before that. I am not happy about my visit there. The course was nice but the people they have working there are extremely unprofessional. Winter golf is a great time to play and practice without being rushed . Every metro parks course blows this place out of the water. I sent all this to the management on their website two weeks ago with no response. I presume they don't care that their employees do whatever they want. If you just love a trailer park white trash...

I have been playing at this course for a while with no issues. I got my friend into golf recently and he is still learning. We have been to the driving range 3 or 4 times and played a round of golf at a different course. While playing the front nine we were told the course is backing up and my friend need to just walk up and hit the ball. If he can't do that he needs to pick up. We let a group of two play though before this because they were moving a lot faster than us. On the start of the back 9 we got the same warning and my friend was told if he hasn't had golf lessons he shouldn't be playing. If his drive doesn't go that far he needs to pick up and come play from our shot. It was very disrespectful and not how you should treat customers or people new to the sport. You learn to play golf by doing it and we all start somewhere. In case your wondering we never saw anyone behind us on the back 9. When you don't have tee times you have to expect this will happen and you should never tell someone your not good...
