International Home Miami — Local services in Hialeah

The customer service at International Home Miami is absolutely wonderful - Unfortunately though, the customer service will not stand by their cheaply made products. I purchased a waterproof cover through them for my new Teak table and the first one leaked and was replaced very quickly. The 2nd one, differently made, was equally as cheap and leaked as well. It's almost like it leaked through the fabric, which is strange because I was told it was 100% waterproof (see attached photo). When I went back to them outside of the year warranty asking if they could do anything in terms of refunding me the $129 so I could purchase a new one from a different vendor, the answer was NO. My initial complaint was well within a year and I feel this additional complaint should have been accepted. They offered to give me a square replacement cover free of charge for my time, but that wont help as I have a rectangle table. If you get a cover for them and it leaks, write them immediately and file a claim for a REFUND, not a REPLACEMENT. This is what I should have done in the 1st...

We ordered (in late 2022). and received several pieces of Amazonia wooden patio / deck furniture including a large square dinning table with 8 chairs, a Sid table with 2 more chairs and 2 chase loungers plus a low side table to compliment them (ordered at a later date) Shipping was timely and all items arrived without visible damage. The assembly (in spring 2023) was easy and all parts are of quality wood. Communication has been good throughout the transactions and the personnel we have dealt with via phone and email have been very nice, extremely concerned and helpful and professional. We had one snaffoo with a single item arriving without the hardware package being included. Again they responded quickly and promptly to get the hardware package including legs replaced.
