How to describe Kimberly, her art, and what she did/has done for me without writing a essay...! It's been three months since the photoshoot, and I am STILL glowing over the pictures and her art, light, warmth and power that she imbued into them.

My photoshoot with her was the first one I ever did, and I was absolutely terrified of doing it. I lacked confidence in myself for most of my life and avoided taking pictures of myself and having them taken of me. It was this very thing though, this fear, this wound of unworthiness, that I wanted to face. Kimberly not only helped me do that, she made me FEEL so powerful, so strong, so radiant and free. She helped me step into my power and confidence, and she did so while making me feel so comfortable and safe. Being that it was my first photoshoot, I had no idea what I was doing, but Kimberly was so patient and kind in guiding me on what to do. Her warmth, kind heart, and joy and passion for what she does and creates was palpable. I loved the experience that I had with her as well as the pictures of me, and more than that I love how Kimberly made me feel during the photoshoot and up until now, three months later. I love how natural the pictures look, the warmth and power and grace that they have about them.

We hired Kimberly for my daughter's senior portraits and I cannot recommend her highly enough! We aren't from the NYC area but we visit often and love the city so much that we decided to have her senior pictures taken there. We didn't know any photographers so we relied on online reviews and Kimberly's web portfolio to make our decision and I am so glad we chose to go with her.

She is extremely professional. Communication was very easy from the initial contact though scheduling and the actual shoot. Kimberly took care of everything. We requested a Central Park shoot and she was wonderful. She knew the perfect park locations. And even more importantly, she really took the time to establish a rapport with my daughter (a teenager so not an easy task) so the pictures came out so natural and relaxed. I knew before I even saw the proofs that Kim was able to really capture the different sides of my daughter's personality.

And can't forget to mention that the shoot was just plain FUN!

After the shoot we received a login to our online proof gallery and all I can say is wow! So many beautiful pictures to choose from. Downloading original files and ordering prints is very easy from the gallery.

One of the great things we did on our holiday was to hire a professional photographer as we’ve not had any professional family photos done since my daughter was a baby. We had never met before but researched photographers and we liked her work. We were not disappointed. Communication was great and arranging the shoot, paying and receiving our digital photos was quick and easy. We had a great hour and a half in and around Central Park starting at 7am! We had loads of fun and a good laugh. If anyone is ever considering doing the same in New York, get in touch with Kimberly Mufferi Photography. As well as producing great photos, she was good at putting us at ease, giving advice on where and how to stand and was also able to take us to great spots we wouldn’t have found ourselves.
