Great fair! Lots of horses, ponies, goats, cows, bunnies, ducks, chickens, etc to see for kids. This year had a dog show and a Bengal tiger show! They were both great. Shows are short, but informative and fun. There are different main features every night and a variety of food vendors. Bathrooms were kept exceptionally clean & stocked. For any bikers, there is paved parking at the entrance across from Laurel School by the grandstands (would've been helpful for me to know that BEFORE I went). The only down side was with some vendors - use big containers to put your food in, but only half full. 😞 This was an issue at the facility by entrance to grandstands. They were very inconsistent & had the worst lemonade ever. No idea how the fudge stand is because she wanted $5 to taste the fudge. Mind u I asked for a sliver of my favorite to base my buying a pound which was $12. Cotton candy, candy apples, funnel cakes, etc were delicious! This is one of my favorite fairs and most economical for families as there is only the gate fee and it includes the rides. Helicopter rides are 3 min and are extra but seem to be very popular. Pony rides are extra also. Plenty of games too for those that enjoy them. Shout out to my friend Tom Dealz who goes every year with great quality jewelry (ear rings, body rings, regular rings, bracelets, and necklaces) and knockout DEALZ! Thanks to those who organize this fair every year -...
Read moreI give the fair board credit, they are trying to attract more people to the fair! The grandstand events are different... Bull riding/rodeo, boxing... But the favorites are still there... Tractor/truck pulls, demo derby. The livestock judging and auctions are always good events, and nice to view. There were a lot of food vendors offering a wide variety of snacks and meals. There were rides and games for those who like them. The inside vendors didn't seem very busy as most people never entered the buildings. Still like the gospel music night... Was well attended. The fair is a nice end of summer outing, a bit pricey, but admission price includes the rides and grandstand admission. See you next year! Please like this review if you...
Read moreAbsolutely diplorable. I took the kids to the fair for some family fun time and the fair employees were rude, and put my child in danger. My son and daughter were both on the swings. My son did not get buckled. The man running it started the ride and I screamed that my son was not buckled yet he continued the ride. I yelled everytime the swing came around that my son wasn't buckled. The man refused to stop the swings. I called the office and reported it. The office employee explained that I had not been the only one that called and reported the guy. They said they would call me back and they haven't done anything about it, nor called me back. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I would give negative...
