I played at this course for the first time yesterday. It's very reasonably priced. I payed $15 to walk 18 holes. The tee boxes and fairways are in great shape, but unfortunately the greens are the worst I've ever played on. The grass on the greens just looked dead on 16 out of 18 holes. There are massive spotty bald paches coverings at least 50 percent of each green, other than maybe 2 greens. They try to cover this up by spray painting the greens to hide the bald patches. My only other issue was that there are wasted opportunities to lengthen the course, because there are some longer tee boxes that aren't utilized. For instance, there's a 350 yard par four that has 2 tee boxes that have been abandoned that could make it a 450 yard hole. This just adds to the number of holes that play very short. I hit a 3 iron off the tee on 7 or 8 holes. I'm a longer hitter, averaging about 300 off the tee, so the added yardage would make the course more entertaining for me. For most golfers this probably wouldn't be an issue though. This course has great potential, but needs some work. If you take your score seriously, the greens are a big problem. If you just want to have fun, and you typically shoot 85 or higher, this could be a great...

Update for Aug. 2025: Still a okay find, but golf etiquette and overall course maintenance s lacking. Cart paths are all torn up. Greens are fuzzy. All weedy around the fairways. Can't tell difference between greens and the fringe. Burnt up greens.

Group of 5 plus 2 lottle kids for a Sunday. Definitely more than 4 players. Slow pace of play - more than 4.5 hours.

August 2024: We found this place by accident and were pleasantly surprised. Please note, if you have a watch that tracks yardage, it may come up as the Ole Still Golf Course. Prices were great for the weekend. Customer service was top notch. The greens were perfect. No burnt out spots or pitch marks...but they are quite tiny, to give you an extra challenge on the course.

Only negative was the confusing tee markers. What is on the card and on the stone marker don't match. Markers also say White (with a black marker) and Gold (with a green marker). Weird but easy to work around. We're excited...

After golfnow coupon I only paid $16.49. Worth every penny of that. I would be good at $25, no more.

Whomever is leaving recent 5 star reviews of the greens must be getting paid to do so. The greens are not completely non puttable but many spots that are. The majority of greens, I'd estimate 85% is good, but the spots that aren't are bumpy huge divot like spots that you can't putt over.

Fairway is more Hardman then lush, but still very playable. Dormat right now because of colder weather.

Staff is friendly. Carts are good.

They are doing improvements. Cutting down and burning trees, repaving cart path in places, so they are showing that they care.

I would wait until.the spring to play. Not worth more then $25 right now.

Place would be absolutely amazing if they would cut down tress to give more views of the lake. You can glimpses of it but if they would open up the views it would be worth paying $35 just for the...

Had a great time. The greens are in good shape, it doesn't feel too tight, and everything is is pretty well maintained. It is beautiful and hilly, so it's challenging, but not so much that It's not enjoyable. The staff was courteous and friendly. The restaurant was closed when we were there, but I've heard good things. We are playing again today, so I'll add a few more pictures later

Played about a month ago. Course was decent. Not worth the money they charge for a weekday. Most greens were in bad shape. Staff was friendly. They did have a few good greens. Sand traps need work.
