FIRST OFF I WANT TO GIVE A HUGE THANKS TO ALL THE GUYS AT ACTIVE SOUNDS...... HERE IS MY TESTIMONY....... ME AND MY SOON TO BE WIFE WERE DEBATING ON GETTING SOME WORK DONE TO OUR VEHICLES AND WE STARTED LOOKING AT REVIEWS ONLINE AS WELL ALL KNOW PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES NO ONE IS PERFECT SO I LOOKED FOR ABOUT ABOUT A MONTH OR SO AND YOU ALL KNOW HOW WOMEN ARE THEY GO BASED ON REVIEWS SO SHE SAID LETS TRY ACTIVE SOUNDS BUT YOU TALKING ABOUT ME WOULD HAVE TO TAKE MY VEHICLE FIRST AND LET IT BE THE GINNIE PIG BECAUSE SHE DID NOT KNOW THE SHOP SO I SAID OKAY SO I SET A BUDGET BEFORE I WENT IN I BEEN THERE A COUPLE BEFORE JUST TO PRICE SOME THINGS AND SEE HOW COMPARING THEY WERE TO OTHERS IN THE INDUSTRY TO ONLY FIND OUT THEY WERE BEYOND REASONABLE SO I WENT TO GO BACK THIS YEAR AND I COULD NOT FIND IT CAUSE THERE SIGN WAS NOT THERE AND I COULD NOT QUITE REMEMBER WHERE IT WAS AT SO I HAD TO LOOK FOR IT I FOUND IT AND WHEN IN ON A FRIDAY AND THEY WERE SEMI BUSY AND A LADY AT THE FRONT VERY NICE ASK HOW ARE YOU TODAY AND WELCOME TO ACTIVE SOUNDS I SAID I AM GOOD AND I AM LOOKING FOR A COMPLETE SYSTEM AND SHE SAID GIVE ME ONE SECOND LET ME GET YOU CHRIS AFTER ABOUT FIVE MINUTES CHRIS WITH ALL SMILES ASK ME HOW HE COULD HELP ME AND I TOLD HIM I WANTED A COMPETE SYSTEM FROM THE DECK DOUBLE DIN NAVIGATION ALL NEW DOOR SPEAKERS ADD TWEETERS 2 15" SUBS AMP BOX 4 CHANNEL AS WELL AS RETAIN MY STEERING WHEEL CONTROLS AND TWO HEADREST DVD PLAYERS TINT AND NEW HEADLIGHT HOUSINGS AND BULBS AS WELL AS TAIL LIGHTS AND EXHAUST WITH OUT NO FURTHER COMMENTS I STOOD QUIET AND CHRIS LOOKED AT ME AND SAID SIR HERE AT ACTIVE SOUNDS WE WORK ON A BUDGET SO HE GRABBED A PIECE OF PAPER HANDED IT TO ME AND HE HAD ONE AS WELL AND TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO WRITE DOWN A GOOD BETTER AND BEST PRICE AND WANTED ME TO WRITE DOWN MY BUDGET HE DIDNT WANT TO SEE IT THOUGH SO I DID AND HE WROTE DOWN THE PRICES AND WE FLIPPED THEM OVER AT THE SAME TIME AND FOR WHAT I WANTED I STILL HAD 800.00 LEFT OUT OF MY BUDGET AND SPENT THAT ON MY KIDS FOR CHRISTMAS AND THAT WAS A BLESSING TO ME AND MY FAMILY SO CHRIS HAD ME TO FILL OUT A WORK ORDER FORM AND TOLD ME THAT DUE TO WHAT I WANTED DONE IT WAS GOING TO TAKE SOME TIME DID I WANT HIM OR HIS SECTARY TO DROP ME OFF AT THE MALL OR DID I WANT TO CALL A RIDE SO I CHOSE TO CALL A RIDE HE TOLD ME THE JOB WOULD TAKE ABOUT 10 HOURS BUT HIS GUYS WOULD STAY LATE IF NEED BE CAUSE WE NEEDED THE CAR THAT NIGHT TO GO OUT OF TOWN FOR THE HOLIDAYS SO I LEFT HIS SHOP AT 10:45 IN THE MORNING HE CALLED ME AT 9:45 THAT NIGHT TO LET ME KNOW MY VEHICLE WAS READY TO BE PICKED UP AND ADVISED ME THAT I MIGHT WANT TO GO AHEAD AND GET A SECOND BATTERY DUE TO THE DRAWL OFF MY SYSTEM I TOLD HIM TO GO AHEAD SO HE TOLD ME MY VEHICLE WOULD BE DONE BY 10:30 PM AND IT WAS HIS INSTALLER TOOK ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO SHOW ME HOW EVERYTHING WORKED AND MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE WITH USING ALL MY NEW TOYS BEFORE I LEFT FOR THE HOLIDAYS HE GAVE ME A TWO WARRANTY EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH CHRIS NOR HIS GUYS WERE PUSHY AT ALL HE LET ME MAKE ALL MY CHOICES ON MY OWN I FREAKING LOVE IT AND BEST OF ALL THE SOON TO BE WIFEY AND KIDS LOVE IT SO WE WILL BE BACK IN MARCH IF NOT SOONER TO GET MY FUTURE WIFEYS VEHICLE DONE AND I CANT THANK YALL GUYS ENOUGH "ACTIVE SOUNDS IS THE PLACE FOR ALL YOUR AUTOMOTIVE NEEDS" PLEASE PEOPLE DONT LET ONE OR TWO BAD REVIEWS STAND IN THE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS THERE CAUSE I TOOK A CHANCE AND MY FUTURE WIFEY IS VERY PICKY I WAS SO HAPPY I TIPPED THE INSTALLER AND CHRIS AND HE TURNED AROUND AND GOT CHANGE FOR WHAT I GIVE AND SPLIT IT BETWEEN MY KIDS AND SAID MERRY CHRISTMAS AND TOLD ME THAT HE DIDNT HAVE TO PAY HIM FOR DOING WHAT HE KNOWS BEST SO LONG STORY SHORT I GOT HALF WAY TO FLORIDA AND REALIZED I LEFT MY BILFOLD AT THE SHOP I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID YES WE HAVE IT PUT UP FOR YOU AND CHRIS SAID GIVE ME AN ADDRESS AND HE WOULD OVERNIGHT IT TO ME AT NO CHARGE SO HE DID WHEN I GOT IT I HAD PUT 1000.00 IN 100.00 BILLS WERE MY FUTURE WIFEY COULDNT SEE IT AND IT WAS STILL THERE ALONG WITH THE REST OF CASH IN THE MAIN PART AGAIN VERY...

This so called establishment is a disgrace to the Latino community!!!! My husband took my car to have them re-tint my drivers side window that they did a poor job on. When I got my vehicle back there was a burn mark on my door panel. When my husband addressed Moses, the guy who worked on the tint, he told us that we had to prove that he burned the door panel. He was extremely condescending and had a smirk on his face the entire time. He basically said that we were lying. Now to be completely honest my drivers seat and arm rest has some tears and that is from wear and tear over the 10 years I’ve owned the vehicle. We became extremely upset because he made the comment that my interior had some tears and so the burn mark must have already been on the door panel. He then threatened to call the police and told us to vacate the property. The seat and armrest has no bearing on the drivers door panel whatsoever! The issue with Moses is that he did not accept accountability for what he did! His handling of the situation was completely unacceptable! He displayed the poorest level of customer service that I have EVER witnessed!!!! If they had done the job correctly the first time this review would not even have to be written. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND Active Sound to ANYONE!!!!

¡Este llamado establecimiento es una desgracia para la comunidad latina! Mi esposo tomó mi automóvil para que volvieran a teñir la ventana lateral de mis conductores en la que hicieron un mal trabajo. Cuando recuperé mi vehículo, había una marca de quemadura en el panel de mi puerta. Cuando mi esposo se dirigió a Moisés, el tipo que trabajaba en el tinte, nos dijo que teníamos que demostrar que había quemado el panel de la puerta. Era extremadamente condescendiente y tenía una sonrisa en su rostro todo el tiempo. Básicamente dijo que estábamos mintiendo. Ahora, para ser completamente honesto, el asiento y el reposabrazos de mis conductores tienen algunas lágrimas y eso es por el desgaste de los 10 años que he tenido el vehículo. Nos entristecimos mucho porque hizo el comentario de que mi interior tenía algunas lágrimas y que la marca de quemadura ya debía estar en el panel de la puerta. Luego amenazó con llamar a la policía y nos dijo que desalojáramos la propiedad. ¡El asiento y el reposabrazos no tienen relación alguna con el panel de la puerta del conductor! ¡El problema con Moisés es que él no aceptó la responsabilidad por lo que hizo! ¡Su manejo de la situación era completamente inaceptable! ¡Mostró el nivel más bajo de servicio al cliente que he presenciado! Si hubieran hecho el trabajo correctamente la primera vez, esta revisión ni siquiera tendría que escribirse. ¡Definitivamente NO RECOMENDARÍA Active...

I was told on Friday after brining my truck by to get a quote that they were "first come first serve" and that they don't accept appointments. So I showed up Monday morning at 9:00 when their hours said they would be open. Waited until 9:25 and left when nobody showed up or answered the door. Went to another shop that said they couldn't do the work so I went back to AS at 10:30. I was first in line and there were no other cars. The promised my car would be done same day. I called at 4:20 and they told me it would be ready in an hour. I came at 5:45 and my car was not ready and they told me they had to pull their guy off my job to do another one because "sometimes you gotta take a guy off the $500 job for the $5000 job but we can't and shouldn't really tell customers that." I waited in the shop for 2 hours until the work was "completed." The installer couldn't figure out how to install the brackets for a stock replacement head unit (that are clear as day in the instruction manual) so my head unit is just floating around in the enclosure. He also installed an on/off switch in the glovebox without consulting me or the manual (the unit has it's own on/off switch so it isn't always drawing power from the battery). Just an absolutely embarrassing experience all around. I told them I would just figure it out myself because I wanted to leave after waiting so long after the time they told me to come. They couldn't find my quote paperwork which I had luckily (with foresight) taken a photo of. Paid at 7:25, left, and will never return. Avoid this fake Fast and the Furious shop. TRUST THE...
