I brought a watch in to have a crystal replaced. After about a week, I received a call stating that I needed to come in to discuss a problem that had occurred with the repair. I was told that the new crystal that he had purchased did not fit correctly and that he would have to cut the bezel to make it fit. I told them that would be fine, as long as they made sure that it looked like it did from factory. I then learned that he had broken the seconds hand on the watch as well and he promised to have it fixed. After a couple of weeks, I called in to check on the status of the watch. I was told that the watch maker was not their at that time, but that I would receive a call from him later that day. The call finally came the next day. When I arrived to pick up the watch, the "new crystal" was scratch led and made of plastic and the bezel had a huge gap in it where he had cut it. When I told him that I was not satisfied, I was still charged $135, which I finally got $35 for the parts replaced. They destroyed a perfectly good bezel and charged me $100 to do so. Would not recommend.

A follow-up to my previous review

I agreed to cutting the bezel , after being told that the gap would be repaired. This did not happen. My issue as far as the $100 is that you not only broke the second hand, but you also broke the hour hand as well and did not give any compensation for it. I was quoted $50 ( half an hours work) to polish the other watch. I now have to purchase a new bezel for the watch (yes, i agreeed to let you cut it, as long as you repaired it. You did not.) A new hour and second hand. (Yes you replaced the second hand that YOU broke, however it was nowhere near what the original was.) I came into your store with a broken crystal, and left with a destroyed bezel, hour hand, and seconds hand. The ONLY thing that we discussed was you cutting the bezel as long as you repaired it. January 9, 2023 Glad to find a jeweler who will put magnets on necklace chains that need them. However, more recently, the cost for the magnets has gone up from $15 to $25, which now includes $10 for labor. When I look at magnets online they do not cost this much. In speaking with the owner he tells me it is inflation. Recently I asked for this service and requested a small magnet. When I came to the store a larger magnet had been used. So, I had to drive back to the store the next day to get the correct magnet. Also, I gave the store a watch for repair on December 13. Was told it would take about 2 weeks to do this. The last time I asked about this, on January 3, was told it would take more time as this business was slow, so why was I told 2 weeks to begin with? Was also told the owner would check and call me. I had to call again about this as I did not receive a call. Still waiting to get a call back regarding my watch repair. I finally got the watch back. I was told by the owner it would cost $60 to repair. When I got the bill it was $60 for parts and $20 for labor.

My mother and I happened to be walking around one day and stumbled upon this shop one day. Little did I know how much I’d end up loving this place. It’s a little small family business. They are very professional, attentive, and personal! My mother bought me a ring and had it resized and cleaned multiple times ( as I became pregnant and then lost weight and then gained again)! My mother is very picky and she’s in love with this shop! She refuses to go anywhere else go get her Jewlery fixed, cleaned or resized. My husband is also picky he’s the worse! I once stole his chain while he was at work because it was looking dull and went to go get It cleaned. He was so shocked to see how stunning it looked had not seen it shine like that in a while. He as well now only goes to MN to get his chain cleaned. And now we are going back once again to get out little daughter her first Jewlery pieces and am so excited.
