Mashek Food Center — Local services in Highmore

This is the only true grocery store in Highmore and isn't badly sized for it's small town status. This store does have most of the basic foods you do generally need, but when it comes to exotic food selections; there is very limited choices of such foods. There has been times where I have seen fruits and salads being a little dated or poor looking. Their butchered meat is of pretty good quality; with approprite marbling and naturally good flavor. Staff are usually friendly and wait times are very low. Location is clean and they do accept EBT and WIC. Have in mind however; if you use credit/debt cards, there is a $10 minimum before they will even let you use a card, but EBT and WIC do not follow this rule. Prices are pretty average across the board with all products; you can get some pretty good deals on some products.
