Hillsboro Farm Country Market — Local services in Hillsborough Township

I always love coming here for so many of their products and am so happy this market is just 10 minutes from my house. However, based on what I’ve observed, I kind of feel like the customer service is not that good. I’ve read numerous reviews about how the workers are so nice and attentive, but that hasn’t been my experience. I barely get greeted and when I ask a question, I’m answered very briefly and dry. This has happened several times and with more than one worker. Just last weekend, I took my good friend who was visiting and was surprised that she was greeted so nicely…my friend is blonde with blue eyes; I’m Hispanic with black hair. I don’t want to throw the racist card, but I can’t think of anything else and it really upsets me. I hope these workers do better and the customer...

This is a cute local farm store. We go for fresh fruits/ vegetables and baked goods. Some observations: please wipe down the children’s shopping carts - they’re filthy, and children have the weakest immune systems. All kinds of viruses can be spread through that. The baked goods are great. PLEASE make an effort to indicate which items have NUTS (or at least separate the ones that do - some people have life-threatening allergies). The older women at the counter are often pleasant, but the younger ones can work on being a tad friendlier - they seem miserable sometimes. The prices are high, but on more than once occasion some of the fruit went bad quickly (especially melons, apples). Otherwise, it’s a cute store that we enjoy supporting - if these other items...

My husband and I recently moved to the area and were looking for a local farm market. We came across the Hillsborough Farm Country Market and have already been back multiple times. Reasonably priced with fresh produce and don't get me started on the bakery! We have purchased multiple items from the bakery including pies, crumb cake, specialty loaf bread, etc. for parties and events and always get asked where this is from! We recently purchased rosemary bread for one of my aunts and she was very happy and plans on taking a trip out here herself! Everything we have bought here tastes great and is fresh.
