Efland Market — Local services in Hillsborough

I quit going there about 3 years ago because the place was dirty and smelly. The canned goods were not stocked well and were covered in dust. The meats looked rancid and the store workers were not at all friendly. I went there yesterday and it was like old-times at the Red & White. Friendly folks, clean, neat store, nice meats. Prices are a bit higher than at Food Lion or Wal Mart, but that's expected in a local business. However, the increase is around 10%....a little less for some items, a bit more for others...worth it for a quick stop with no crowds and you don't have to do a football field's...

Home town store, been here for at least 18 years because that is how long I have been here in the community. Randy the store owner keeps the store clean and stocked. I am very happy with the customer service. World class customer service. He provides fresh produce from local farmers. The eggs from Latta eggs. Go by and visit. Keep the local business...
