This place is SOOOOO much more than a gas station and convenience store!!! It's a sanctuary and a refuge at the edge of the woods across the street where I stayed for a week. I came here nearly everyday to escape the silence when I needed some sensory stimulation after a solitary walk. Colorful autumn leaves crunching under your feet can echo in such silence. If you don't hurry, the mist rising from the ground might whisper old secrets you couldn't bear. Every time I reached the street, I felt like a character emerging from another dimension to cross the threshold into the next. 😂

This place has the aroma of all that yummy, autumn, country goodness to warm the soul. Some high quality groceries and interesting home-baked pastries to snack on. One night, I had a kombucha craving and my friend said to try this place since it was in the "neighborhood." It was a rainy night and these dark, back country roads can be especially eerie at night so I figured why not? They didn't have kombucha because they had sold out for the week but kept trying to find me a replacement. I ended up just buying some unsweetened, fruit flavored carbonated beverage but I thought their Southern hospitality was just next level!...

Friendly, helpful people make the Farm and Garden more then just a business, it is the center of the Cedar Grove community. As a general store, they have just about everything. They have all sorts of things, including everything you might find in an old fashioned country store. My only frustration is that a majority of the items in here don't have prices on them. And I have to stand in line just to ask how much something costs. I'm sure it's labor intensive to price everything but maybe put a price scanner in so that we can at least figure out how much something costs without having to stand in...
