I went into morse sporting goods yesterday Feb 27th looking for a new bow. I started looking at several different bows. One of the bow techs john came right over and answered every question I had. He even brought four bows that I was looking at outside even though it was bad weather and let me shoot them. He was extremely patient and helpful and made it a point to make sure that I got the exact bow that I wanted that shot the best for me. John and one other BowTech sorry I forgot his name helped me all through setup on the bow and set up a dozen arrows. I am very happy with my purchase on my brand new hoyt ventum 30. Found out about Morse after a sporting goods place in Jaffrey quoted me over $100 and 2 weeks to replace a crossbow string. I walked in on a Saturday with my bow and a new string. The staff was friendly and the bow tech immediately took the bow and started working on it in front of me. He gave me some beginner tips and answered some questions. When he was done restringing the crossbow he commented my existing string is intact and just needs a new serving. He offered to do it so I’d have a spare and I said okay without asking what it would cost. He just charged me for the new serving and the whole visit cost me $10. The shop also seemed well stocked and less cramped than the Jaffrey store that shall not be named. My daughter just got a new compound bow. We brought it in to get it tuned for her. The young man behind the archery counter helped us with everything that was needed and gave my "new to archery daughter" a great deal of tips and advice, which was incredibly helpful. Then we went across the street and test fired it quite a few times and he continued his advice. He dialed in the sight on her bow and let her fire until she was comfortable.
