During my teenage years I was very troubled and homeless. I was living in a school bus in a field in the winter time down the road from the store. Your grandparents gave me bread bologna and cheese once a day for weeks. I was and still am grateful for her kindness. I was actually at work yesterday and a lady I was taking care of had the last name Underwood and I was instantly flooded with memories. I now am back in my hometown in Florida. I was telling my husband about it and he looked up the store and here I am. I’m happily married, graduated from college in the top of my class and have two beautiful children. May have not happened for me if I wasnt blessed with kindness like hers. So glad to see the store is still there and you’re carrying on her big heart. God bless you and your family.
