If you are looking for a fun and enjoyable experience with your family or loved ones this fall, keep looking. This place was absolutely terrible. I decided to take my wife to their orchard for some apple picking, something we figured would be a pleasant activity. Unfortunately it was far from a good experience, and was actually so bad I decided to go out of my way for this review. You show up to the orchard expecting to have a pleasant encounter and nice time. You have to go inside first and pay $25 for your plastic bag to pick apples with. At the register they tell you to walk down the path go past the parked van and pick apples. Sounds easy enough right. Well you walk down the path you see a van and a bunch of apple trees, but no signs or employees. We started walking around picking apples and it started off fine, but that didnât last long. After walking around for about 10 minutes some old man came flying through the property in his van slamming on his breaks within 5 feet of my wife to yell at us for picking apples to far back. We tried asking where we were supposed to be because we were told to come back here and we were greeted with nothing but rudeness and hostility. This used to be a fun and family friendly place sadly those days are gone. If your looking for a good experience try maple side in the area or all of the other great orchards Ohio has to offer, you wonât regret finding a...
Read moreNot a good experience, overall. I am guessing the majority of our issues are coming from picking a little later in the season, but nearly all of the trees were picked over at the orchard. The trees that did have apples on them were not available for picking or were already rotten. The solution provided by the monitor in the area was to use one of, what looked like, 5 ladders. It was suggested to stand nearby those who looked close to finishing to get their ladder once completed. This system was incredibly disorganized and lead to occasional arguments by patrons. For $25 we left with 10 apples because we waited about an hour and a half to use a ladder before...
Read moreI went apple picking đ đ with my adult daughter. It was crisp and cool weather. It was a great time and we all had pink noses. They were some of the best and juiciest apples I have ever eaten. When we picked them the apples had a sheen of evaporation on them from the cold. I bit into one and the juice just squirted out everywhere. Tree ripening made the apples super sweet. The donuts were also super fresh and were cooking as we watched. A great time was had by all. Iâm still eating apples because a half bushel goes a long way. They are still crisp and delicious. This little farm is definitely...
