The owner of this company delivered my first ever brand new furniture to my brand new beautiful apartment right on the river. With perfect hallways and perfect paint everywhere you turn. And ignored his helper who suggested he take the feet off of the couch. And instead tried to jam my furniture into my house before he finally decided to take the feed off and get it inside. how extremely disappointing. And then when I reach out to him a few days later, he told me it was fishy because I work 78 hours a week and waited a few days to reach out to him. My experience was wonderful all the way up until the moment I had to work with Davis. The owner.
I had no idea it was so difficult to screen shot a video in order to get the image you would need to send to the “manufacturer”
Calling me a Liar and referencing my financial situation to make yourself feel better gives me zero desire to work with you to resolve anything.
You have been rude and arrogant since I have initially made contact with you.
All I was hoping for was some sort Of acknowledgement of the damage you personally caused. All delivery services MAKE THE EFFORT TO remove the feet of the furniture when delivering which is why your helper started to remove the feet right after removing the plastic while still inside the trailer before entering the building.
There was no need to measure anything as it fit perfectly in moments after the feet were removed.
Any person reading this will be able to read right through you. I sent videos because better than a still picture it very clearly proves that the scratches line up perfectly with the scrapping that occurred on our hallway walls and I assumed it would help you understand a little better.
And since you are still so adamant about receiving pictures over video I will go ahead and take a screen shot of the 3 videos of the 3 scratches you created and post them here so your potential clients will be able to decipher for themselves what occurred.
Even though the screen shots are not as good as the videos and do not show how obvious the situation is. Which in my opinion is why you are so determined to have pictures instead of video.
Again… I think in August of 2024 we all know how to take a screen shot from a video.
I also asked you to send over the image both you and your helper requested to take and took immediately after putting the legs back on and flipping up the couch and placing the cushions on it. But you ignored that request, knowing very well there is a gouge out of the left corner of the left arm of the couch. That was not there when you unwrapped it in the trailer but was then very clearly there before you left my home that day and your picture would prove that.
You only offered to help me after you said it was “fishy” I waited 3 days to reach out to you. Again. I work 78 hour work weeks 11a-230am 3 times a week and 12 hours days the rest of the week. We were still living out of boxes when you delivered. And I had to convince myself to be brave enough to even bring it up to you. Thank you for reiterating for me why I avoid these types of situations at all costs.
With a 78 hour work week I have zero issue affording your 45$/wk payment.
Literally everything about the process was wonderful and enjoyable right up until you actually became involved.
A simple… I’m very sorry that happened. I was in a hurry that day… would have been simple enough.
Instead I was sent multiple aggressive voice messages and insulted now on 2 separate occasions.
There was once a man who owned a car lot off of highway 41. Backwoods Bargains, and your business professionalism matches his very closely and he was shut down for many unethical actions including drugs. I cannot help but wonder if you are actually him operating a new business out of a...
Read moreWell on Day 3 right after our delivery I had only good things to say about this company.
And then the chaos of our move settled down and we realized the owner of this company was personally responsible for scratching the fabric off 3 different places on our couch while trying to deliver our furniture and instead of just acknowledging mistakes can be made, and offering something as simple as an acknowledgement or apology...
He said our story "sounded fishy"
The furniture is great quality.
The price is reasonable.
We did not purchase from the owner but Jason who was also top notch!
And even the delivery helper dude tried to avoid damaging the furniture by starting to take off the legs to the couch while they were still in the trailer in order to navigate through the hallways but the owner who always DOES do his own deliveries told the young man he did NOT need to take the feet off. Even after the young man asked the owner if he remembered how narrow the hallways are in our building.
I heard the interaction because I was in the trailer grabbing cushions and helping to bring them in.
The owner asked me if we were going upstairs and when I said no. He confirmed his initial thought to young man and instructed hon to keep the feet on.
It wasn't until they made it to the doorway of our apartment and tried to make the turn for about 5 minutes jamming our couch in different directions and ultimately smashing it against the doorway and walls that he finally conceited and had the young man go get the drill to take off the feet.
After removing the feet our couch glided into our house with ease and right to our living room without an issue.
I was excited for our beautiful new furniture and said thank you and they were on there way.
And when we realized a few days Later and reached out and literally just hoped for acknowledgement of some kind because we overall were pretty satisfied and happy.
We were met with a rude response and pretty much accusing us of lying.
So basically.... moral of my story is...
Be very observative through your Delivery process and watch this man closely.
Because he does not care if he damages your...
Read moreGuy seemed really nice. I bought a furniture love seat and couch set and also a bed, mattress and night stand. I have had the furniture a few days and it hurts my back as I have back issues. The furniture is nice looking but unsupportive to my back. I spoke with Davis (I think that’s last name) there was a long pause after I asked him about returning it then he pretended like he couldn’t hear me and hung up. I called back and he sent it to voicemail. He stated he doesn’t do returns and showed me as it was part of his receipt (to be fair it’s in there). The finance company said I could return it but he has to start the process. So I can’t return the furniture that I can’t use long term. Unsatisfied customer. Just be sure the furniture meets all your needs otherwise you are stuck with it. After posting this review he has messaged me several times and I had to block 3 phone numbers from him. Here is a picture of the voicemail he left me. And one from my apartment I just moved into that he has called filthy and smelly. Note I have only lived in this new apartment since July 6th. I haven’t had time for it to be filthy and smelly . It’s ironic because I bought glade lavender and vanilla plugins for my place to smell extra nice. Wouldn’t recommend buying from him since he’s acting ridiculous.
He still has to deliver the ottoman I purchased to match. I will up date this review and see how that goes
Update 08/11/2025- He deliberately did not answer my texts or calls in reference to the ottoman I purchased, so the finance company tried reaching out to him and after a week he finally responded. He showed proof of my signature that all the items were delivered and installed when they were not I signed without reading it and now he has taken me for $200. He is a liar and a cheat. I wouldn’t trust him or buy from him unless you want...
