Recently stayed at Hook, Wine, and Sinker through this group. I'll start by saying the cabin was serviceable at best for the $1,300/night cost over the new year holiday. The sleeping arrangements in the cabin were fine for our large group of 15, but the loft was only accessible by a spiral staircase that was super difficult to navigate (even for the smaller kids). When we arrived, there were a few live roaches on the kitchen counters and we observed more bugs in the kitchen area during the remainder of our stay. There were light bulbs in the cabin that needed to be replaced and there wasn't enough toilet paper or trash bags for a 5 day stay for 15 people.
As far as the cabin goes, the living area downstairs is small, but that is made up with the common area upstairs being large enough for a group to socialize together. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a large group. The back porch is a great hangout space and the hot tub worked as needed. We utilized the outside grill, fire pit, and converted the horseshoe pit into a corn-hole area since there was only 1 horseshoe to play with. There was also a lot of construction on to the driveway while we were there, so we had to park between piles of gravel and the heavy machinery. I understand the cabin is in a rural area, but the greeting letter highlighting the current issues with local water company (brown water can happen) and the inconsistent internet access would have been great to know prior to booking the cabin. The internet was super spotty. Don't plan to stream more than one device at a time if you stay here. The hot water downstairs was reliable, but the upstairs showers only provided 3-5 minutes of hot water before turning ice cold.
The best part about the location was the creek and forest area behind the cabin. We had a great time hiking the hills and creek beds around the cabin. It should be noted that there are neighboring cabins that you can see very easily. The cabin to the south is fairly close, especially if you're enjoying time in the back, close enough that we could hear their outdoor tv in the evening time.
A 3 star rating is fair for the amenities included with this cabin and the experience that we had. I've stayed at cabins for much less (on holidays) and had a much better experience than Hook, Wine, and Sinker. We'll definitely come back to Broken Bow, but I don't think we'll...
Read moreWe just returned from our stay at Sunset Diamond retreat in broken bow and it was everything we expected and more! The house was beautiful! Fully furnished and decorated perfectly. Beds were comfy, air worked well,we felt right at home! Sunsets from the upstairs patio were my favorite in the evening . The game area with pool table, foosball, air hockey and lots of games was a nice added amenity . The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, plates, pots, pans, appliances( air fryer, electric griddle, crock pot, blender, toaster, etc) , wine glasses, a wine fridge, steak knives, a smart fridge and a fabulous coffee bar! The coffee bar included a regular 14 cup coffee maker, a keurig , a French press, a bean grinder and an espresso machine. Each room had a full size coffee pot and cups as well. The amenities were endless. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking many meals inside as well as outside on the deck. There was a pellet grill (pellets provided) and a gas grill. The pool and hot tub were a hit and There were great beach towels provided by the back door and lots of noodles pool floats. There is also a fabulous fire pit . We spent many evenings enjoying them as well. The host were very responsive to any of our needs including a replacement dishwasher when the current one wasn’t working - great hospitality to say the least. The only thing we all wished for was a full length mirror but otherwise we give Diamond Sunset retreat a 10 out of 10 and hope to return in the future! Broken bow/ hochatown was precious! We rented a pontoon with B And B outdoors, hiked, went tubing at skip a rock, and visited many breweries, wineries, the casino and several restaurants. If you are looking for the perfect stay accompanied by a relaxing, fun vacation -...

Booking and pre-trip communication was great! Checkin was flawless and easy!
Cabin is beautiful! Clean and fully stocked. location perfectly secluded, but easy to access. Any service issues were handled immediately, great staff.
Highlights include-
Outside space, gorgeous deck over the creek, with big hottub, tv and fireplace. Lots of seating and space! The deck railing is wide enough for a small dog to get through, so plan accordingly, we brought extra gating and there were lots of places to tie a leash. Plenty of wooded area to explore, creek is so much fun, plenty of activities and games provided. Rained while we were there so didn't use the fire pit, but looked perfect.
Kitchen, plenty of space and well stocked, outside grill works great, seating to spare! Range top is gas, no issues with any appliances. Laundry area is nice, washer/dryer full sized and placed oddly, the doors open against each other making switching loads difficult, but small inconvenience.
Bedrooms- Master downstairs was amazing, beautiful suite, luxurious shower and bath, bed lovely and decorated nicely! a posh suite to relax and be pampered. Bunk room was brilliant, 2 TVs! and full beds, perfect ground floor escape! Upstairs has 2 nice small suites, standard bathrooms, great TVs..small balconies without seating which was odd. Steep climb up the stairs.
Steam shower- Pictures don't do justice to this large space, with great benches and powerful steam. Rain shower in the center is perfect. This is the place to unwind and truly relax!
All in all a great location, a luxury cabin run by good staff, would...
