Dang! When this shop was under previous ownership, we used to stop in for cokes or ice cream after adventures with our little ones at Meriwether Lewis. Today we had a hankering for ice cream and were curious about how the place had been re-done. It's so clean and cozy! It was neat to see some organic items in there. We LOVED the ice cream, and the ribs smoked earlier today were the best we've had in quite a while. We'll be back for ice cream...

As a nomad on a bicycle, I was so grateful to find this place while staying at Meriwether Lewis campground. The lady made me 2 great big smoked baloney sandwiches so I'll have something to eat in my tent without cooking during an all day rain. I cheated and ate the first one last night and she definitely understood my love of pickles. The sandwiches were made with so much care, I literally got a pickle...

Love, love, love this place! It is a deli and country store combination. The owner was working when we were there and made some great recommendations for our sandwiches. They were absolutely delicious! If you are ever on the upper portion of The Natchez Trace, stop by. It is located only a couple of miles from the highway. You...
