I grew up in Orrington and the trails have become something amazing over the years. This is still one of my most favorite places to hike and it's very easy terrain. The Lakeshore Trail used to be my favorite but I don't like that the gate is closed in the Brewer Lake side so you cannot enter through there anymore by the dam. It always made it so enjoyable to go from the pond and the lake but the trails are still absolutely fantastic regardless, you can look for frogs, birds and learn about animal tracks here.
