On Wednesday, November 7, three of your employees came to my rescue. I was eating lunch and playing bridge at Surf City BBQ, when the owner/manager of the restaurant asked who owned a Maroon Highlander Toyota. It had a flat tire. It was my car. The owner was going to put the spare on for me and I went to the parking lot with my car keys. Then three men in your work truck stopped and offered to take the flat tire off and put the spare on. They found the spare under the car, changed the tire and completed everything in about ten minutes. I offered to buy lunch for them but they declined. I went into the restaurant to get some money from my purse to give the fellows but when I returned to the parking lot they were gone. The restaurant owner/manager said they were good old boys who just wanted to help. They certainly did! They reaffirmed my belief that there are many more good people in this world than not. Got a letter from JOE detailing issues they were having with my meter and how it was reporting usage. Chris came by and checked it out. He called JOE to get clarification on what was happening and what was needed to be repaired. Unfortunately my 20 year old meter needed to be replaced.
