I ordered a corsage and boutonniere for my son's prom. Although it was artistically arranged, the white flowers had brown spots and bruises. When I verbalized concern, the ladies were cavalier, pulled off the outer petals and said that no flowers are truly white and they all come with some brown spots. I disagree as I have seen much fresher flowers. Even the baby's breath was wilted. I asked for a new one. When I went to pick it up I was shocked to be given an older, wilted corsage that had been PAINTED white. There were globs of paint and it stunk of paint. At no time was there any type of apology or appropriate verbal exchange. Instead, I was gaslighted and treated with the passive aggression of knee jerk defensive employees. My wedding that was supposed to be on a Saturday in September, was moved to Knoxville TN the Tuesday before- 4 days prior. I had hired Dayspring Flowers to arrange my bouquet, the bridesmaids, corsages, and bouts for the outdoor ceremony. Because the forecast hurricane Florence hitting land, we had a very limited amount of space left in the car to tote things with us from Apex to Knoxville. Dayspring worked with us and had the bridal bouquet and the bouts ready and packaged to travel Thursday and were all still very beautiful on Saturday. They refunded the remainder of the money we had planned to spend, even though we only were able to give a 4 days notice. They were of great value and offered many options. I stopped by several florists prior to meeting Ginger at Dayspring and I must say that without a doubt, I know I made the right choice. Ginger has a great eye for design and is so kind as well as welcoming. I felt comfortable working with her from Day 1! She has no problem answering all of my random questions and has been excellent at helping me choose bridesmaids bouquets, my bouquet, ceremony, and reception decor.
