Staying at local BNB, there's a small airport have the best Bush Pilots in the country to fly up close to glaciers and up to top of mountains, it'll leave a mark you'll never forget of magnificent glacier that moves down the mountain into the bay. Absolutely Bring the best Naval binoculars 7x50 to get views up close from high cliffs of BnB. Owner will warn where not to hike into Bush.

Staying at 4 different BnB's from Anchorage to the Spit, was another great experience of some of the best chow for breakfast and meeting others, sharing views & videos on laptop from camera.

Late May, experience the never ending dusk in middle of night is by far the coolest thing ever.

By all means, never try to drive and photograph at same time, all roads are too narrow winding two lane only. Mount video camera for clear wide angle view, and let it run till you find a spot to pull over, which are rare.
