I recently made the trip from Ann Arbor, MI to Sleeping Bear Farms, and it was well worth the journey! The honey is simply the best I've ever had—rich, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. Andy and Justin provided outstanding customer service; they were knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Besides the fantastic honey, I found some extra products that made my visit even more enjoyable (lemon curd honey, hot honey, and dill honey mustard). Mostly they just send tons of bees to farms across the country as pollinators, so there is no real reason to go to the location directly. If you want their products, head to the winery (St. Ambrose) directly north and they sell all the honey and beeswax and related products you can imagine. Never knew honey was rated based on what the bees pollinated, or that there was flavored honey, or that getting hammered on mead actually can be...

Love the honey but they are price gouging big time. They need to be reported. I bought a gallon of honey a few months ago the honey cost me 12.00 dollars. Today he’s selling a gallon for 57.00. That’s almost five times the original price. There is a site to report businesses participating in this illegal practice of price...
