Customer service was a bit friendly so theres that, but over all a sort of disorganized, had a group cut infront of us, theres was no direct way to see your place in line, my group just felt a bit out of place not really knowing the happenings and we didnt want to seem impatient enough to keep asking. Ive been to other gokart places in south florida and they are much more fluid, and alot more organized. Here the workers waited for the racers who completed their circuit to come back to the waiting area, in order to START getting the next group helmeted up so theres alotta wasted downtime, i personally think they could have had the waiting set ready to go as soon as the racers were done (helmeted up and given the racing breiefing) or just have individuals with multiple sessions sit in the cart and just add new racers to the pool ( and yes they had enough helments to have two groups cycle out simultaneously—and should if they didnt) . The other places ive been to it was pretty much on and ready to go like a well oiled machine, so while one group was returning from the track on one end, the others were getting ready to go in. Instead everyone just got out and huddled around each other taking off helmets and others putting on existing ones, not really the most sanitary, and im not even complaining about covid 19 and lack of social distancing etc. Ill let the excitement of the race and chatting with friends slide as a reason for not the safest of proceedures during this time and it is outdoors so i mean i get it, but its just the common coutersy of keeping gear clean and not having them smell sweaty, i saw one worker just spritz a little lysol on top of a stack of neck padding (not really the cleanest but at least they are aware... i think?) They had two tables there but they looked a little dirty one had pizza crusts and wrapers all over it and no one who worked there would clear it off, either from some one who worked inside or the individuals who were manning outside. So that was a little disappointing. In terms of the circuit... it was ok... simple not alotta curves but fun never the less once youre on the track. I would say it was an ok experience but the disorganization really sapped the fun out of it for me, i feel like they make opperating this facility alot more cumbersome than it has to be, its the equivalent to getting to the lavatory from a window seat on a plane but with three other people to pass with their tray tables out during refreshments and the last person has a sleeping 18 month old baby cumbersome. when its race time though thats where the 8 minutes for $25 of fun happens. Id say if you really really really want to go gokart racing sure....but, if there is another option available have this one as a back up, and do go with a couple of hours to spare for waiting, other than that nothing...

I've seen this spot for years, and I finally went with my son ayer years of procrastinating. Lol.

Positive: Overall, we had fun as it was my son's first time Karting. Luckily, it wasn't busy, so he felt comfortable riding.

Negative: Would I return? Ehhh, idk, maybe. But honestly, probably not. It was cool, but it feels like you are not getting your money's worth. The karts are legit racing karts but way too pricey for what you get. The track is tiny. Basically, it's a pear-shaped track. Each session lasts about 8 min. We did 2 sessions each, and that's the most you'd probably enjoy because it's repetitive and likley boring. For what it is, it should be around $12 each session. For 2 sessions each, we spent $95. I wouldn't do it again. Perhaps if you go with a larger group, it could be more fun. I suppose I just feel like the track should be much, much larger. I'd happily pay $25+ for 5 laps of a track that was 5X larger vs $25 for 15-20 laps of the mini track they offer. Hopefully, they can make a second much larger track as there ample space to make 20 tracks if they wanted. Homestead is growing like crazy amd it's time we have exclusive activities for locals and even people outside Homestead. Overall, it's a cool place to go to, but I really hope they expand because I'd love to go back at least once a month if...
