It is so exciting to be at Ware shoals dragway with the people picking who's going to win each race. Their are cars that you pretty much know will win the race, but don't be surprised if the other car wins because anything can happen. The rumble of the engine will make your heart flutter with the power as they go by you. It is also pretty cheap to get in the gates to see and hear these monster powered cars. Just started racing. My first pass last year at age 75. Have the best tutor Jim Wood, 72 years young. He isn't the oldest driver out there now. Been co-backing him for over three years and I decided to give it a try. He said I would get hooked. One pass in street class and I got hooked. Nice local track. Far end of track is rough . About the racing is okay and I mean just okay the concession stand is terrible I mean if you can get food just got to stand in line for a half an hour it's pathetic.
