I enjoyed the walk. The trails were very well maintained. New looking foot bridges and benches made the walk pleasant. Do not be surprised to see a lot of 🐕 s since the entrance of the trail has a dog park. Update; Sunday, August,2020: Took a walk to pass the time. Not a lot of shade but nice views. Dragonflies flying around, but, they avoid you. Very little litter. Well maintained trail. Update: May-September 2024; WOW 😲! I read an article online that the trail has been extended and that it reaches all the way to Allenstown! We walked the Brick 🧱 Klin Trail ➰ Loop and I enjoyed the green 💚 and wild flowers. My son enjoyed blowing on the white dandelions. My friend, she enjoyed the benches and thinks there should be more with a cover for shade. My daughter was glad I brought water 💦! Very colorful in the Fall 🍂 🍁! Keep track of who is walking the trails! You may find a lost pair of car keys. I left a key 🗝️ on a bench and found the owner when I walked back with my family. I like this trail a lot. Big parking lot, a small beach for dogs to cool off, and wide trails throughout most of it. Springtime is beautiful with all the wild flowers and butterflies. There are long stretches of unshaded areas, so really hot days are kind of tough. A heads up for dog owners who may be concerned- the hooksett dog park is very close to the trail entrance. I have seen dog owners walk their dogs from the park to trailhead (or vice versa) with no leash through the parking lot. It is also pretty common to come across off leash dogs on the trail.
