Do not shop in the store the owner. And a/manager. She is the biggest liar, and so are the Hopewell. Police particularly officer at Merrel McConnell because they make up whatever they want and they should be ashamed of themselves for making up this charge I didn't do any of the stuff that they said and their other employees. The male manager was there that evening. And the cashier could prove that I wasn't lying that I didn't do anything wrong but the Hopewell officer that wrote up the report. Decided that he was going to just write it up anyway. He felt like it ,even if he had to make lie or make things up. He's nothing but a liar and he should be ashamed of himself. He is an embarrassment to all police officers. And then people wonder why the general public doesn't like or dis trusts the police. Although I live closer to the big box stores, Lowe's & Home Depot in Robinson, I find myself going to Hopewell for most of my needs. I've never had a problem with any of their associates. They do seem to fulfill my needs much quicker than the big box stores. I take my back pack leaf blower and other garden tools there for repair and they always do a great job. I've rented garden tools & construction tools from them, too, at fair prices. One thing that I find a little annoying is the wait is so very long to repair my item but that proves that many people rely on C & I to have the item repaired correctly. The repair shop seems to be overwhelmed at best. The repair cost is reasonable. I much prefer to shop at the little mom n' pop stores because I feel that the service I receive is more personable and I don't have to search forever to find an employee when I can't find an item. I took my lawnmower back to be worked on, I would have taken the carb apart myself and cleaned the floats. My brother went to pick up the mower and when he arrived the cost was 13 dollars, he thought ok well he bought this here less than a year ago so that makes sense, that price was changed right in front of him. The woman cashing him out says "well that isn't right." She then proceeded to scratch that amount out and changed it to 46. I called to see why the price changes and the guy I am speaking to starts lying about "jet ports" and they make these out of plastic so 30 minutes of labor.....yeah that is the right price.
