If delivering here don't waste time by going to shipping building. When you'll try to check in they will hand you out a map. It's around 6 mins drive from shipping address to receiving. If Delivering RECYCLE(Bales of Cardboard). Pull to the Scale 3. Set your brakes and go to the white kiosk on your left. Fill out the information. It'll ask for RELEASE NUMBER and BOL. Put the RELEASE NUMBER in BOL too. Put your Trailer number and then confirm the info. You'll get the scale ticket on your left side. GET IN TRUCK AND START FOLLOWING RECYCLE signs. You'll reach the docks. Don't get out of the truck. If dock available then slide tandems and back it up, Forklift operator will come and get your paperwork along with SCALE TICKET. If no docks available then stay in your truck and back up when dock is available. Once you're unloaded go in the warehouse and sweep the trailer. Once done go to scale 3. SET YOUR BRAKES and this TIME SCAN THE SCALE TICKET YOU PRINTED EARLIER. You'll get EMPTY SCALE TICKET. Take it and leave. No need to stop at guard shack. I checked in at 3AM. I was the only one. Read moreThey will hand you a map (which wasn’t much help) & give very vague instructions on how to find where to be unloaded as this place is not only huge but at night it’s super hard to see.
MUST HAVE VEST & HARD HAT ON ANYTIME YOURE OUTSIDE OF TRUCK.
Pull straight thru gate to right over tracks - look to the left & you’ll see a few docks & a big blue metal dumpster. Cross over tracks & go inside - they told me any dock didn’t matter. Slide tandems & disconnect airline.
After they’re finished unloading (30 mins) you can sweep your trailer out with brooms they provide back into the dock but don’t leave any on the dock plate - per their instructions.
If you have bailed cardboard for recycling go to 299 Hummel Ross Road instead of 910 industrial. 910 industrial is for picking up paper rolls and there are seperate entrances. Was pretty neat to see such an old complex. Scale in at the gate and then go through a long dirt road, down a little hill you normally wouldnt take your truck, drive in between some train cars to reach the recycling dock. Guys unloading were cool and got me out of there in about 2.5 hours total between waiting my turn and getting unloaded. Leave the same way you came in...
