Food Lion — Local services in Hopkinsville

Can't say enough about this Food Lion staff. Im from North Carolina and I brought a semi truck loaded with Christmas trees When I got there I almost fell out of the truck .I felt sick the staff told me to rest and they would unload the truck. After they unloaded the truck. I pulled to the side to rest. 1.5 hours later I was in an ambulance headed to the hospital. I was at Jennie Stuart hospital for 3 days. 9 hours from home.On Sunday I was released from the hospital but you may know NO Public taxi or Uber on sunday in Hopkinsville and I needed a ride back to my truck. So after no luck with a ride to the store. I called Food Lion spoke to Trey a manager there and asked if he could help me with a ride to the store about 4 miles away. Trey sent one of his BEST EMPLOYEES that also unloaded my truck 3 days before to pick me up to bring me back to the Food Lion store. Also my truck was still in the parking lot because the staff knew i went to the hospital and no one towed my truck. Sorry if my truck was in anyones way Friday or Saturday when customers where shopping. But it was peace of mind that i woulded have to pay a tow bill. ( hospital will be enough) Thanks to the community of Hopkinsville KY and More to the staff of your Neighborhood Food Lion. P.S. i live only 15 miles from Food Lion headquarters in Salisbury NC and i have shared my experience with Food Lion customer service 👍👍hope Food Lion recognize the staff and the manager that messed up his nice button down shirt unloading my truck with tree sap. Do not attempt to use pickup with foodlion anymore. Their new service and the personal shoppers are useless. You can no longer verify via the website if something is being substituted so now the shopper can just cancel the item if they don't feel like looking for it.

They have marked splenda, hotdog buns, and chickens wings out of stock through the pickup. However after walking in and personally looking, they have an entire shelf full of splendia, multiple different types of hotdog buns, and PLENTY of chicken wings available in whatever style you want.

I would recommend looking to kroger or a larger brand for your pickup orders in the future until they resolve...

I love Food Lion. They have the old fashion customer service that focuses on the customer. I could write a few pages maybe of the things they have done for me, they help load groceries, they'll check to see if they have additional stock in the back. They are very friendly people. Even when they are busy it is easy and fast to check out. The employees are always willing to help in any way they can. I can't say I have any complaints, every place has something yes, but complaints no and definitely no complaints here. I highly recommend Food Lion. I have been to Food Lions in the Hopkinsvillez KY/ Clarksville TN area and the customer service seems the same...
