I recently moved back to Massachusetts after working in the Carolinas as an Event Manager/Designer for 8 years. I have worked in many venues throughout the southeast and New England , for intimate affairs, large corporate functions and MANY weddings.
Needless to say after launching my own company, HF Events, in Massachusetts I have been very selective with positioning my name with spaces and was finding it particularly challenging to find venues in central MA (near my family) that we’re just as beautiful as ones near the city. I didn’t want rustic. I didn’t want a restaurant. I didn’t want a hotel. And I didn’t want a place all of my friends and family had attended events in before. Hopkinton Center for the Arts was perfect!

The gallery has interesting and unique displays that change frequently. What talent there is in this area- from very young to the elderly, the "HCA" has a program, a show or some event or entertaining/learning opportunity for all. One of the best annual events- "A Play, A Pint & Pie" - an event based on a tradition in Scotland- that allows the community to gather and showcase new playwrights original works (1 Act) outdoors while enjoying a fresh pint of brew and a traditional meat or veggies baked pie.    Read moreRecently saw a wonderful HCM (Hindustani Classical Music) recital performed by Raga Trio (Peter Row on sitar, Sarah Atwood on violin and Ajay Sinha on tabla.) Peter was my first sitar teacher's, teacher. He also plays the ancient Rudra Veena. My hope is that more and more people will learn about HCA (Hopkinton Center for the Arts) and show support for their concerts and events.
