The Horseshoe Bay Resort Jet Center service was amazing! We accidentally parked our Beech Bonanza on the wrong side of the runway from the Jet Center but no worries, immediately a golf cart appeared with two men who chocked our plane and gave us safe crossing of the active runway. A courtesy car was provided, so my wife and I took a tour of the beautiful resort area and some of the golf courses. We had an excellent dinner at the Lantana restaurant and strolled through the miniature golf course. What a great day! I’ve used this FBO in the past and had positive experiences with the service. However, be aware of their strict after-hours policy: if you arrive after 7:00 PM, you’ll be charged $150 per hour just to have one person stay late to place chocks under your wheels—no exceptions. This unexpected fee makes it impractical to use this airport and nearby hotel as an overnight stop on future trips. One of my favorite spots to fly to on a day flight from Fort Cavazos. There has been a lot of improvements to the look of the building from the first time I came here in 2017. Through the improvements, the staff being very friendly and helpful has not changed. The manager from 2017-2021 let my crew and I (4 people) use his personal vehicle to get to the place he arranged for us to get lunch. Now, a courtesy car is available for use.
