The Springs is such a beautiful and luxurious getaway close to our home in Boise. I've taken my little guy during all ages hours for tons of fun to chase off the cabin fever that comes with winter. Most recently, my boyfriend and I went for an evening getaway. We got a private tub for our first hour and it was just beautiful. So relaxing, and the perfect element of privacy we were looking for. We stayed for about 2.5 hours and had so much fun. During checkout we got a delicious cranberry oatmeal bar and some coffee for the ride home. We're so excited about the new overnight options at The Inn and can't wait to give it a try. The only bummer is the lack of availability for massages - they book up so fast. The beer selection could use some help as well. Otherwise, a wonderful spot!

Such a clam & pleasant place to relax and enjoy the Hot Springs water. We booked a private hot spring tub. Was the best thing to do in Idaho. The place was so clean and neat ( they kept cleaning the restrooms and shower area), staffs were very friendly . Will be visiting back soon!

We arrived at the Hot Springs on June 8,2019 at approximately 11:10. We were a party of 5 adults @ $20 each and 3 children @ $14 each. Once we arrived in the pool area, we were met by a young lady with long brown hair telling us that we couldn't sit at the one table they have unless we were dining. I told her we would be ordering food soon & she told us we couldn't sit there until we had food. So we moved. Then she told us we couldn't move a chair. Then kids couldn't jump in the pool. No splashing. It was No, No , No since the moment we arrived. Making us question our decision to be there. We asked "Aren't kids allowed?" To which she said "Yes, but they can't jump, splash etc." So kids can't be kids in the shallow end? Nope. Then why allow kids when we were told by the server that Friday, Saturday & Sunday's are filled with families with children.

Then about 12:00 my 4 year old grandson got sick & started to vomit & did get some in the pool. We were very apologetic & felt bad enough. Then the manager KURT came over asked what happened, he was told & then looked at me and said " Well you just cost me a days worth of reservations! Because it's going to take 9 hours to drain and refill the pool!" And he walked away! The poolside server with long brown hair started getting everyone out of the pool and gave us attitude as did the two ladies at the front desk. The ONLY NICE UNDERSTANDING ones were Sarah and the dark haired massage therapist who go my grandson some sprite and some stickers, showing genuine concern for how he was feeling, if he was ok. No concern about his welfare from the manager KURT, who was only concerned with the 9 hours it was going to take to drain, clean & refill the pool and that we cost him money! Kurt was Rude, obnoxious and uncaring. The only thing my grandson had since eating breakfast at 8 am was water from the dispenser on the side of the pool & he got sick shortly after. They would not give anyone that had been there for an hour a refund which I find bad judgment and customer service. Other people were given tokens to come back and we were told since we had been there an hour, we could not get a partial refund or tokens to return. IT DOES NOT SAY THIS ANYWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE. I have copied and have screenshots of every page of their website that I took the day this incident occurred. It doesn't say if you have been there an hour no refunds. I spoke to two people who had been there as long as us and received tokens. It's not like we planned on my 4 year old grandson getting sick. We have visited this place frequently in the past with family & friends and often recommended it to people who were visiting or wanted to try somewhere different. This visit was different. We encountered rude ladies at the front desk, Blonde hair wearing a white shirt. Rude pool side server with long brown hair and the RUDEST of them all was the Manager, KURT.

We will not return. My daughter left in tears because of the way we were treated by him. She works at a hotel in Boise where people often ask for recommendations as to day trips. Needless to say, due to Kurt's rudeness & the rudeness of the brown hair server, she will NOT be recommending your hot springs. We will NOT return unless there is new management. Kurt could have handled this so differently and this review would have been a different review. I have since learned from a former employee there are adults who get drunk and vomit in the pool & have seen the same treatment from Kurt, rude and not concerned for the welfare of the person and only with the money he is losing I understand this is a business and it's about making money, but with the reputation Kurt is giving this place, I hope the Owner rethinks Kurt being the manager. That's the only way we will ever return or recommend this place.

I do not It recommend this place. Go to Gold Fork Hot Springs or any other instead of here unless you want to be treated poorly. Don't bring your kids if you want them to have fun, because they can't...

My spouse and I visited the springs this past weekend. It’s taken me about that long to sit with what I wanted to write. Ideally, I’d like to leave our horrible experience behind us in the mountain dust, but the way we were treated by the staff on what we hoped was to be a relaxing birthday night out from parenthood calls as a warning to others and a plea that this business heartily reconsider how it approaches enforcing its policies. My wife had booked the soak and mistakenly wrote down the start time. Thinking we were being responsible, we left home early so we could make the drive safely, thereby arriving at the springs what we thought was a mere 20 mins early. Turns out, it was more like 50 mins early. We were given the option to take a pager and wait elsewhere or “go and come back.” My wife mentioned maybe finding a bar or something close by we could wait at. We ended up 3 mins away at the Goldmine. She had a beer while we waited and listened to the band play, and as I was to do the driving, I had nothing. We returned and checked in. We got our lockers and got into the springs. My wife went to order a drink and a pretzel and the poolside server told us she was informed we smelled like alcohol and intentionally not given wristbands by the desk staff. I took this rather offensively, thinking there was a mistake as I had had nothing to drink and my wife, a beer. Surely, we were not the ones they were saying were inebriated enough to be smelling of alcohol? She doubled down and said she could smell it now. I was stone sober and said “I respect the policy but I feel like a child.” The way they approached us while we were already in the water in front of a bunch of other patrons, saying we were ‘smelling of alcohol’ and treating us like we were inebriated children was completely uncalled for. The looks we got from the staff, and other patrons after receiving the poolside lecture, as though we had done something wrong made us highly uncomfortable and judged and we decided after a shortened soak we weren’t welcome here. When we checked out, we told the desk clerk that the way were just treated was the most unprofessional and insulting way we’d ever been treated by a business. They again, doubled down and insisted that 2 staff attested we smelled of alcohol and that she heard us ‘even mentionedwere going to a bar.’ I, again, repeated that I’d had nothing to drink so the likelihood we both smelled of alcohol was false, but they didn’t care. Policy was just an excuse to discredit us and call into question our integrity, as well as embarrass us in a pool of people. If it were only about the policy and keeping customers safe, there were ample opportunities to approach us in a kind or informative manner, i.e. a heads up about the details of their policy when we mentioned maybe going to wait out the time at the bar, or even when we checked back in. There are ways to enforce this policy in a kind and respectful manner, but they seemed to delight in ruining our night, seeing us check out early and dismissing us as inebriated, irresponsible children. We won’t be returning, but they didn’t seem to care about...

What was meant to be a nice, relaxing time with family turned so sour very quickly. We were in and out of this place in about 20 minutes.

My girlfriend's family and I had been looking forward to this trip to The Springs for the last few weeks. we took work off early and got into our cabin at the pines ahead of our reservation. we went into town, had lunch and then went back to our cabin a few hours before we went to the springs. We played some card games before we headed down. once we got there, we checked in, changed and went out to the pool. my girlfriend and I decided to get our 21+ wristbands before we got in the pool as to not have to get out and get back in. We didn't really want to even drink but we didn't know if we'd change our minds. We got our IDs and went to the desk to ask for them. we were met with a very odd look and were then told "we were informed you were drinking before this" so they wouldn't give us wristbands. this was not true. I understand their policy to keep us safe and to not overserve people it's smart to play it safe. BUT the woman was extremely rude and wouldn't tell us where she got that information. my girlfriend's parents went and talked to the lead who said it must have been a misunderstanding. they said "someone said you were partying at your cabin" we don't know where this came from. we thought the problem was solved and we could go on with our night. My girlfriend and I got or wristbands and then decided that we wanted coffee, not even alcohol. We got a waitress to come over and she didn't even ask us what we wanted before she said she didn't feel comfortable serving us. I initially thought this was because I'm gay and my relationship made her uncomfortable. Because my gf's dad was served alcohol. Which then made me even more uncomfortable in the situation. She set down cups, told us to drink some water and "if you guys behave yourselves, maybe I'll serve you". She ASSUMED we wanted alcohol and THOUGHT we were drunk. The way she spoke to us was ridiculous and again it was all speculation. We decided to leave because they made us feel horrible and we told them we wanted a refund. We had been in the pool for all of 10 minutes. She told us that we had to pay and take it up with a manager to get refunded. we have been trying to get ahold of that manager, but it has been nearly impossible.

Just to reiterate, it wasn't that we needed to drink, or that they wouldn't give us drinks. We hadn't broken any rules, and we weren't even drinking. My gf's dad even asked, "is it because we're loud?" we're a loud family, we laugh, we are happy. if that is our crime here then send us to jail. It was the way they went about the situation and made all of us uncomfortable. parents and their kids. we're not "partying at a cabin" we're playing card games as a family. get your facts straight before you accuse a family of doing something that ruined their vacation at your lukewarm smelly pool.

We don't recommend this place if you like...
