Balboa Golf Course — Local services in Hot Springs Village

Very disappointed in my experience. I’m a local player and play multiple times a week. It was my first time on balboa. Showed up to check in and was greeted by a rude and short frustrated woman. Told me that I needed to be back by dark which I replied ok cool 8:30. She says 8 she “doesn’t want to be here all night” ( it gets dark at 8:30) not a big deal I get key and continue to course. Played front nine and she catches me on the 9th hole and yells at me from 30 yards that I need to be done by 7 pm because carts needed to be fueled. I tried to respond that I was told 8 first but I was rudely cut off every time I tried to speak. I finally got a word in and told her that I would like half a refund for my 70.00 dollar round. Im very easy going and golf to enjoy myself. My t time was 4pm because of the heat! I suggest if employees don’t want to stay until it gets dark they shouldn’t allow t times past a certain point. It was 5:45 when I finished the front 9 it usually take me 3 hours to play 18 if I’m taking my time enjoying myself. Will not be back to...

We reserved a table there for approximately 12 people for a meeting to organize an Iowa Gathering. The weather was nasty and the golf course was closed, but they remained open so our group could show up! Alexis, Joey and Crystal were super great! To me, this is the best golf course at HSV, followed by Coronado. It's a beautiful course, laid out well, challenging shots, and always fun to play. This is my "long day" course while Coronado is my "short day" course. They are close to each other and it's tough for me to choose at times. But you cannot find a better course for your game, and mine is certainly not the best game, but it's fun...
