I would not even give them a star at all, but I have to because I want to leave this review. We ordered a mattress five weeks ago and the person we ordered it from told us it would take three weeks. We called at the 3 1/2 week mark. He said he was going to check into it and would call us back. Never called us back. Five weeks later we call and they tell us it will be here on Thursday. Thursday comes no mattress. Same salesman tells us that the people in Little Rock did not put it on the truck. That we could drive to Little Rock and pick it up. Well, this man has lied to us for two weeks now so we decided to call Little Rock, the brand new store on Shackleford. They had no clue what we were talking about. Our mattress was never ordered. One of their Shackleford people promised several times to call us back and she never did . I called back and they tried to offer us a $400 discount or store credit. Sorry, but by this time you will not buy me. We literally rearranged and tore our room apart in anticipation of our new mattress and we got lied to and seriously let down . They sent us on a wild goose chase laughing I’m sure the whole time. I do not suggest going to cost plus furniture anywhere. They actually pleaded with me to not do this review. But I’m sorry that is a prime example of what is wrong with this country and it’s business atmosphere. People are rude and don’t give two cares about you or how hard earned your money is. Read moreThe end of July we purchased a love seat and 2 recliners. The love seat was in stock and we left with it that day. The recliner we wanted was not in stock and had to be ordered. They gave us the option to take the floor model. We opted to take the floor model so we had one and were only waiting on 1 chair to be ordered. We were told it would be in mid-Sept. When we hadn't heard from them I called and was told it was delayed and would be in early Oct. When once again we were not contacted I called again and spoke with Brenner who said he would have the new manager Ben contact me. This could have ended up with a bad review and us wanting a refund but once it was in Ben's hands it was resolved as quickly as possible considering how hard it is to get anything these days (not Cost Plus's fault - it a notion wide issue for everyone). Ben provided amazing customer service and went above & beyond to keep us informed of the progress and even called to follow-up after we picked up the chair to make sure everything went smoothly and we were happy. (We picked it up on his day off so he wasn't there when we picked it up). The staff that were there when we picked it up were amazing. They let us check it out before we loaded it. They offered free delivery but we chose to go ahead and pick it up. Thanks to Ben, Trey, Brenner & Sawyer for turning our bad experience with prior staff into a positive one. I have never had such a hard time getting a company to take my money. I had ordered a chair 2 months ago with a delivery date in mid December due to a 4-6 month delay on orders. This delivery date was put on my receipt. This date came from Little Rock (Katie) when they were called to see if they had the chair on their showroom floor. They did not according to Katie Called today(spoke with the manger Ben) to check on the throw pillows ordered months ago but we're never really ordered, so last month we recorded them(to go with the chair) that were supposed to be in in 3 weeks. They were never ordered and now I'm told (by Ben via Katie) that they can not be ordered. Inquired about my chair, now I'm being told they have one in Little Rock that they have had for about 2 months that can be here on Tuesday. Told them why did you not give me that one and why was I told 2 months ago that you didn't have one and that I would need to order one. No logical reply. Told if I want to continue to wait for my order it will be May before it comes in. Due to the 6-8 month delay on orders. This tells me that they never ordered my chair to begin with and all I'm getting is excuses and lies. It is simple math to figure this out. May is 7 months from October.
Needless to say I had my purchase refunded!
