Very rude staff, not accommodating. When asked for a extra packet of coffee, so many questions and weird faces shown saying they don't provide anything. Booked a 2-Bed cottage thinking it will accommodate 4 people. But, it's intended for 2 ppl stay and extra money for extra person. Fine, my mistake. Instead of charging extra money directly from my credit card information ($6/extra person/day), she kept charging at my door step and asked me to settle it immediately. I came back from a tiring drive, so I thought I would freshen up a bit and solve this, but again her husband kept knocking the door within a couple of minutes, and asking for that balance amount. Am like WTFFFFF! Check-out time is 11am. I tried calling them 10 times and went to the office 2-3 times in the morning, requesting them to extend it by a mere 30 mins, but they weren't available. Instead, housekeeping lady kept knocking the door sharp at 10:55am politely asking to leave soon. We said soon and we were ready to leave in 10 minutes, but again the owner came again and forced us to leave immediately in a very rude manner. When I said I will leave in 5-10 mins, he didn't listen to me and kept on shouting. This happened on a Monday too, and no other guests were waiting to check-in. I have never experienced this kind of hospitality before! Am truly ashamed to stay in this resort with this kind of management. Last but not the least, email confirmation for my booking was never sent, but all the issues were caused by the money-minded owners/management.
PLS STAY AWAY! AM SURE THERE ARE MUCH BETTER COTTAGES/CONDOS IN AND AROUND HOT SPRINGS. THESE EXPERIENCES SPOILED MY VACATION MOOD, RIGHT FROM THE...
Read moreIf I could give it a half star I would. My family and I just scheduled a reunion here and booked out the whole park, while the location is wonderful (right by the water) the woman who owns them was a nightmare to get ahold of not to mention the ENTIRE time we were there she would come down and give multiple other people tours (despite us having the whole camp booked out) she even asked to take them inside the cottages with our personal items inside and seemed offended when we said no. No rules were presented for the cottages before or during check-in (other than no smoking) then a few days later when she’s giving one of her tours she (the owner) tells my mother she has to pay extra because she brought her service dog. The cherry on top was the cleaning people showing up an hour early on our last day and interrupting breakfast to ask if they could go ahead and get started. This overall experience with them was just bad, 0/10 do not recommend, we all felt very rushed the whole time and we will NOT be coming back here. Oh, and also there were really big roaches in the cottage I stayed in which is nasty, how you gonna tell my mom she has to pay for her SERVICE DOG but the roaches can live there rent...
Read moreOur group ranging in age from eight to 86 really enjoyed our stay. We had four cabins, accommodating 10 people and 3 dogs very comfortably. The cabins reminded the older members of the group of vacation trips from our childhood, very quaint and reminiscent of simpler times, where time spent outside is the best way to vacation, and a space to roam and relax right outside your door is the best way to relax. Kids loved being able to swim and paddle board just steps away from the cabins. Plenty of room for all of us to gather outside was a real plus. We loved it. Being able to spread everyone out between multiple cabins ensured private time when needed as well as plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone which we would not have gotten in a house...
