Positive Feedback: Pork ribs are very juicy and tasty. Received a good portion (six pieces) for $15. Lean brisket is moist and tasty. Pairs good with sneaky heat sauce. Baked beans are not too sweet and have a nice smoky flavor. I appreciated the accommodations for low sugar and reduced fat options. Not so good feedback: Paid $21 for small brisket platter and should have given three slices instead of one and a half slices. Note that this is a take-out-only spot with a few picnic tables on the side of the building. Even though the service is excellent, be prepared to wait a while (about a 20+ minute wait on a Saturday at noon). It's best to call in advance and pick up your food if you're in a hurry. Came up for a few days and figured we might not find anything to amazing… we were wrong. I’ve been woking, cooking and became a chef in the industry over the past fifteen years. I haven’t had BBQ like this since the glory days in down in Portland, when there were only 3 BBQ places to choose from. I can attest to this BBQ spot on the Maine boarder is the best from New Brunswick to Mass. Second to Noble BBQ or that place that was in Bucksport(?)
