Compound Gym — Local services in Houston

Compound Gym is a clean and well maintained facility perfect for lifters looking for a bodybuilding/powerlifting environment. The gym is smaller in size, but has some of the highest quality machines from brands like Rogue, Arsenal Strength, and Prime Fitness.

Unlike many other specialized gyms, it also includes air conditioning and the atmosphere is serious but welcoming, and the community of lifters is supportive and motivated so don’t be afraid to visit if you’re a newer lifter.

Huge shoutout to Cameron, who was incredibly friendly and gave me a full tour on my first visit. He walked me through the layout and explained the equipment, which really made me feel welcome.

Super serious gym. Tons of powerlifting equipment and enormous men walking around. There’s a posing room for aesthetic/progress pics. The bathrooms-WHEW- they are CLEAN honey don’t worry about having a coffee before you get here. One of the toilets is even so low you can hit a deep squat. No kinked colons here. The women’s room has accommodations and sanitary products which is always such a huge plus. I had a complete tour by Dominique, one of the staff, who was super funny and nice (and beautiful??). I run a manufacturing operation across the highway that we opened in March ‘25. Have been out of the gym for 2 years but decided to get back in the game. Googled gyms nearby to hit during work hours and saw Compound. Popped in for a tour and Dominique ushered me around with grace and knowledge. She walked me through pricing as well.
