Beyond Organic Growers — Local services in Howell Township

Unfortunately on both occasions when I went to purchase organic produce for the elders and neighbors in my community I was unable to spend money.

My first attempt was in June with a sign displaying “Open” and the greenhouse door open there was no sign of life. I phoned but no answer. A message was left but no returned call was ever received.

My second attempt was in early July. I arrived to a dozen or more folks inside and outside the building. I spent about 10 minutes with no acknowledgment that there was anybody there other than the existing dozen people.

I walked around in the greenhouse hoping to make a significant purchase but unfortunately the lack of awareness outweighed any remote effort at being a business interested in selling to a live buyer.

I would say customer service is not on the menu at Beyond Organics.

So disappointing...Our community will stick to our CSA.

You dont know what you are missing out on if you don't stop in here. This is a great place with locally grown (right behind the building) produce. They have lots of healthy treats and cold pressed juices. The muffins I bought there were the best muffins I've ever had. This is not an exaggeration. The gentleman behind the counter explained to me that the muffins were made with sour dough which made me reluctant to buy them (thinking they would taste similar to sour dough bread with sugar)... I hope they have the muffins when I get a chance to go back... and by the way, this is the kind of excellent and very small business that people should be supporting and encouraging...

Came here with family who live in the area and have known the owners for a long time and have been supporting them on their organic farming journey. They’ve got a very interesting way to farm lettuce that takes up less area than traditional methods. Their little store not only sells the lettuce they grow but also other organically farmed items as well as coffee and really good fruit drinks and smoothies. We had one that had chocolate and banana called Funky Monkey - very good! Definitely recommend....
