The Ballpark — Local services in Howell Township

Coach Ryan Slate and his crew perform an excellent job when it comes to teaching the fundamentals of baseball to young players. Not only did I see my son grow exponentially during his time at their hitting clinic but I also saw the other kids in his group make substantial improvements to their abilities as well. The team of coaches at The Ballpark will take time out of the drills to redirect a kid and make adjustments as needed to help develop a player’s game. The environment is parent friendly. There is plenty of space for the parents to sit/stand to watch their children with unobstructed site lines...

The facility itself is beautiful. However, I was scheduled on 10/24 for an 8-week winter rental for my group starting in January. After 7 weeks of trying to follow up and discuss pricing, I was told on 12/14 that the day we had agreed upon was already booked. Twenty-two families and two coaches had built their winter schedules around the originally agreed upon dates. Now with less than a month before we were scheduled to begin, we have no space and it is too late to try and schedule winter training at...

I would have to say this facility is very nice but playing for this program is another story. Coaches son and parents coach the teams and creates a very unhealthy team environment. If you’re looking to play for an organization just be aware of this if looking for a baseball team. The owners here have a partner who manages this facility and coaches teams of multiple ages. Just is not the best experience for kids...
