Oneka Ridge Golf Course — Local services in Hugo

(Update 2024) This place is still managed terribly! I schedule a tee time via their website and it is just randomly cancelled. As the cancellation tells me, call if you this is in error. I call and I'm told, you don't have a reservation, we have lady's league. Umm, I'm looking at my cancellation right in front of me. Your website says lady's league starts at 5:30PM. My tee time was at 3:44PM. No apology provided, no acknowledgement their system is wrong (and has sucked for years - constantly down)! The response I got when I said there is something wrong with your system to allow me to book a tee time, "You got it, man". So unfortunate, because it is a nice course, but definitely overpriced and poorly managed.

The good news (go back to my comment from 2-years ago, they now have a starter / ranger on the course and the pace of play was consistent. :)

We have golfed on the course many times before and this last experience was very upsetting. The ranger kept talking to us about being behind due to the carts having a GPS on them. We had to explain that we let a group pass us. (it's said we were 9 mins behind) we did pick up our game to be respectful. It's also a holiday weekend and not very busy. The ranger then came up to us and said the two riders not playing have to pay even though their not golfing. That had never been mentioned before starting the initial tee time. We will not be coming here again.

Responding to the golf course’s response. There were not enough golf charts when we went to tee up (at 10am).
