A beautiful island to visit. Peddocks Island is part of the Boston Harbor Islands. I took a ferry from Hingham. The ride was really nice and scenic. The island itself has historic sites to see and lots of hiking trails. It was very fun exploring!

Calm, quiet, beautiful scenery.

Beware of poison ivy near the scenic outlook and holes in the ground leading to the scenic overlook, and animal poop.

Carry food and drinks based on how many hours you intend to stay as there is no bakery or it’s closed 😇. Some part of the movie shutter island is shot here.

All Boston harbor islands are beautiful, but peddocks is probably the longest of all. Loved everything that’s in it and it’s history. You can easily spend an entire day here if you’re not...
