IF I COULD LEAVE MINUS 5 STARS I WOULD!!! I would never chose this funeral home even for my worst enemy. The staff was outright rude and racist! I have never been to a funeral home where manners and just empathy were out the window. If you plan on having any snacks or water pick elsewhere they do not allow it! The lady I spoke with had the audacity to say "she didn't ask!" Well when you are mourning there are a lot of questions that go unasked. We finally agreed to have a table with food outside in 90 degree weather. During setup the receptions and other ladies were laughing!! Then we had the rudest manager come out and ask if we were selling stuff!!!! Made us move our table under carport and said that's where "YOUR PEOPLE" WILL BE! If it wasn't out of respect for my family I would have ripped into everyone there! I would love to broadcast this on the news! Just know I work in a field that asks for funeral recommendations all the time. My response will be STAY CLEAR!! I am utterly appalled at the service and attitude of...
Read moreThis cemetery is not well maintain and doesn't appear to ever have had much thought put into keeping it well organized.
Sections are not well marked. Headstones facing opposite directions. (No organize sense that makes finding your way around simple) Headstones are either buried or partially buried/caked over where they are not visible or hired to read because sand/grass has been allowed to grow over them. Sections of the cemetery are better care for while others are neglected. Maintenance/grounds keepers can't tell you where sections or plots are located. (Hello? These are the people that dig the holes and places the bodies in the grounds. Unless they are new employees. They should know where every section of the cemetery is located.) Outdated/hard to read mapping. They utilize very outdated maps with tiny writing to direct you to specific graves/plots.
I have not been to all of their locations so I don't know if this is the case at each one. However, all the above applies to their Humble,...
Read moreI just wanted to let everyone at Rosewood Cemetary in Humble know what a joy it was to work with you. I recently lost the love of my life, and 44 years. Terry meant everything to me. And her loss was devastating. You folks at Rosewood are indeed a ministry. Everyone there, and I mean EVERYONE was instrumental in making this one of the most joyous occasions in my life. As much as Terry loved the Lord, and as much as I do, I didn’t think her “celebration of life” memorial had a chance of being "joyous". The service was perfect. The help we got from Shaun was amazing. Kara, and the members of the Fields family made us feel like we were part of the Rosewood family ourselves. I drove back by the cemetery after leaving church. Your guys already had things buttoned up. Ron helped in the design of a beautiful customized marker. I’ve never been one to return to the grave of a loved one before. But Terry’s marker, and the serene beauty of the Cemetary are truly a praise garden. God bless everyone...
