We were crawling over the ridge trying to keep the children from eating each other, burning popcorn farts to keep the rig in a forwardly way when we spied the T and T country store yonder by the tracks. Loins girded, hoping for the best we made for the blessed sight. Days of travel, ammunition low and the last of the water and hard tack a day behind us we were praying for a miracle to deliver us from our despair, and deliver us the T and T country store did....29.8 gallons of gasoline, Texas tea, in a 30 gallon tank and we didn’t have to walk an inch. 10 out of 10 would coast into this rare beauty in an uninhabited land again, and my companion wishes to pitch a little woo and charming lady who runs the station next time.    Read moreLast night I was stranded I ran out of gas. Called every tow truck company around and they were charging almost $300 just to bring fuel, I even called a few taxi services. I called T & T this morning. The lady on the other end was so helpful, she did what others couldn't or wouldn't do.
