Walker County Fair Association — Local services in Huntsville

This year was my child’s first time to participate in the Walker County Fair. On several occasions when I asked questions to members of the Walker County Fair Association I was either ignored or they didn’t have the answers. This fair was unorganized and it seemed their members weren’t well informed to assist participants with what I thought to be simple questions. I can say there were a few members that were kind and tried to help in any way they could. But sadly, 75% of the time my experiences weren’t the best and to get the answer to 1 question 3 to 5 people had to be asked before the answer was received. I was part of a group of vendors at a gardening event at the Walker County Fairgrounds. The facility itself is okay, nothing fancy, but adequate. The only issue I had was that apparently no one bothered to turn on the AC, because the bathrooms (walls, floors, stalls, everything) was soaking wet with moisture.
